hey, just had a crazy idea for next time

 

what if... we had to make 2 pressies and send them to 2 people

 

but...

 

we would have to have a size limit, or there would be a few omlet swap induced nervous breakdowns

 

ok, ill go and sit in a corner quietly

You're a bit behind the times everyone except me seems to have made a whole handful of them this time. Don't know about the size limit. Would it be not below a certain size

I was given a cheerful fabric Christmas bag with snowflake a tree felt decoration. It's beautiful. Thank you my Secret Santa, will post a picture later

just an idea, but how about making one pressie for a friend on here and another for a charity to give out to someone with less than we have? Just an idea.

Mine too - I have the most gorgeous scarf and matching brooch which I am wearing all day today as it goes perfectly with my Christmas outfit and will look fabulous on my best coat after today,

I have got 3 lovely storage bags, 2 in really cute chickeny fabric and the other a seasonal holly number and a jar of Apple and Cranberry chutney which will be great with our buffet on Sunday.

A huge thank you to my Secret Santa!!

I got a really cute knitted chicken - now sitting in our tree, a lovely red decoration, a tea towel ( althought its not for me apparently ) a knitted dishcloth -far too nice to use- I think I will use it to sit a teapot on maybe, a scarf, some lovely papercraft hearts and there was a lillte pot of garlic salt for Mr Marple - he was really chuffed to bits.

 

I do love this idea it is so much fun, even if the making and hoping it is liked can be nerve-racking. I feel good as mine seems to have been approved of too- yippee what a lovely day and SNOW too.

I would just like to add that since I've been wearing my pressie since Christmas Day that I have had so many comments about my scarf and brooch - it has been lovely to say that I received them from a friend - although I dont know their name

 

This swap has been such a lovely idea - everyone has put so much time and thought into their swap , it's lovely to see.
