Jillus
It seems every time I come onto the forum I am typing one handed! Just back from my long awaited months holiday on St Lucia, but, after ten days I slipped and fell down a steep slope and managed to shatter my wrist , left one this time, had it wired together in a St Lucia hospital and am in plaster until the week before Christmas. Also diagnosed with osteoporosis Should have been sailing to Mustique and Bequia but could not go as it would have been too risky. First day back after an uncomfortable journey a hawk got one of my doves and as the injuries were too terrible had to cull her. Good news is my boy is home from A on ten days leave and is fit, well and happy. We also had another new baby dove hatch. This has taken ten minutes to type but I need the practise to do all the Christmas shopping on line! Get the wires out on Tuesday hopefully but it still hurts like hell, just hope once they are removed things get a bit better.Never had a break before, amazed at how sore it is

Jillus
That is such good news about the wires, I was worrying myself sick that the pain was because it had not reunited and would have to be done again.

I found that Arnica helped immensely when I had a nasty break. I hope that the new year is more positive for you.
