This is similar to my darling Reliant Kitten. Apparently only about 4000 were ever made (can't think why!). Can't remember the exact reg but I called it Susy-Woo cos its reg was S*** WUE. Think a guy bought it to put a jet engine into it

Was this man called Stelios??

Your car was turned into an easyjet 737 !!:lol::lol::lol:

My first car was a black mini: KBD 222N. Bought for £100. Cost £180 per year for insurance third party only!

I have kept nearly all my other cars: I have a bit of a problem saying goodbye you see:

Black VW Beetle

White Honda CRX

Green Lotus (got driven over by a lorry)

Love your cars! 8) My boyfriend really wants another Beetle (he has owned three in the past but none at the moment)....

.....you'll have to get a bigger garage if you keep collecting!:lol::lol:

My Dad is 57 and has owned about 48 cars in his lifetime......thank goodness he didn't keep all those! I do remember him having two cars parked in the back garden for quite a while (much to the despair of my mum!). Now he just owns one car (and 4 motorbikes :roll: )

My first car was a red L reg Citreon AX called Frodo which I in drove up and down from uni, and to and from Glastonbury Festival a couple of times, with music on loud of course! It then got written off when an older gentleman pulled out from a car park as I was going past and went straight into the bumper. His excuse was "Just because it says 'give way' doesn't mean I have to stop!" Needless to say his insurance company paid out!

I currently drive an 18ft campervan called Strider during the festival season when I'm trading (which has seen some sights!), and I share a 'tuscan blue' Citroen C3 with my mum, which I love and yet to name, but there is always something special about your first car, despite the absense of power steering!

I got to drive a lotus Elise around the track at Castle Donnington for my birthday a few years ago :shock::shock: As good as any white knuckle ride!!

Any time you want a white knuckle ride, come on down... I'm happy to take you for a spin.... but of course, we wouldn't go above the speed limit... wouldn't want to do anything illegal!

Dan's coming out with me in her in a few weeks, aren't you Dan? :D

The Elise just keeps getting better.... I had the S2 sport, which was great, but the 111R has a Toyota engine instead of the Rover one and it is so super smooth! Finally got servo assisted brakes, so they work, unlike the old model, when you just had to flap your arms and hope and they have even now put in the luxury of electric windows!

Apart from that its still belt and braces stuff, and weighing only half the weight of a mini, and having a 0-60 in 4.9 seconds, (189 BHP) its quite a challenging drive.

Andrew, don't talk to me about tyres... the Elise has two different types: For front and back, so no spare... (too heavy to carry around too, and no space to store it).:lol:

I love "Pearl" though, and wouldn't have any other car, no matter what you offered me.. and its MADE AND DESIGNED IN BRITAIN!!! 8)8)8)

I think my first car may be on the way out now :cry::cry::cry:

It has been breaking down all week (firing but not starting) Anyhow we thought it was fixed and drove to Crawley (hello Laura and ctb!) to go shopping. Got stranded on the top floor of a multi storey car park when the car wouldn't start to go home... Guy came out to have a look at it and reckons he knows whats wrong (though i am somewhat sceptical as its been in the garage he works at all week and they came to no conclusion)

Anyhow he had to tow us the 25 min journey home which was soooo scary. I had to steer as we were attached to a rigid tow pole, all the way down a very windy multi story car park, through manic large town at shop closing time and down the dual carriage way home... And now the car is unusable for the next few days :twisted:

I've waited nearly a whole year to get my own back on Graham and the whole 'David Seaman' debacle.......

Good things come to those who wait, I guess!

Now, I'm open to bribery!
