How many do you cook for

Recommended Posts

Just four here, too; My wife and me, and our two kids.

In years past, we've often thrown a Christmas Eve party which has invariably been successful because most people are relieved not to have to cook at that time. That's usually meant catering for about a dozen, but we're not hosting it this year so I get off scot-free.

None  We're off to my parents house as soon as the kids have opened their presents and the dogs have been walked. I get away with it on Boxing Day too because I'm going to work while Mr Griffin takes the kids to his brothers  Because they'll eat lunch and dinner there I'll make sure I've got lots of yummy nibbles to chow down on at work. I'm quite looking forward to it.

None - we are out to Christmas lunch at a local restaurant with the in-laws.

Christmas Day evening we go to my sister's house and have a good old knees up (karaoke, guitar hero, board games galore) with buffet.

Boxing Day just us two and then I will cook roast beef & trimmings in my pyjamas. :D

We've got 20 for a sit down meal on Sunday after the annual ice skating get together for OH's side of the family. First time we've done it. Gulp  We've done lots of buffets for parties but getting them all around the tables for this one will be fun - I hope.

Got the 5 of us, MIL and SIL and BIL for Christmas this year which is perfectly manageable especially as OH cooks the Christmas dinner :D
