I'm just on here catching up today and although I had read your post before without chance to reply, I'm so pleased to read now that things are looking a little better for Ruby

 

We had to make the awful decision with our previous 2 dogs and were lucky enough to have Kate with us for a little longer than initially expected - definitely a bonus

 

Keeping fingers crossed for Ruby.

Ruby deteriorated quickly over the last day or so. Took her to the vets who said she was gravely ill with multiple conditions, so this morning our lovely little dog has been put to sleep. RIP Rubydoos - we will miss you xx

Thank you for all your kind words.....and to Jules, as she has met Ruby a few times, for her comments, as I know she isn't a dog person.

 

It is a relief that she isn't poorly anymore, but the house is missing a vital part.

The house does seem very empty without them doesn't it?

When our dog died we said we weren't getting another but that emptiness was awful. We now have another two!
