Pictures for Photo Comp *Busby Pics Added!*

Recommended Posts

Dotte 1 has attitude in that pic. I don't think there is enough contract between fabulous poland and his background. Second choice is Silkie 2 she's got lovely poise and only you know it's chicken poo

Good luck in the competition :D and for the chicken classes, fingers crossed for your stunners. :D

I'd say Dotte 1 & Silkie 2 as there's a clearer background around the bird itself, less distraction...and the Dotte looks a cheeky minx, is she? DH agrees with his photographer's eye.............I'm just off to recheck the "backgrounds"...I didn't notice the extra adornment

Good luck at the show...............ok, who thinks Tasha will come home empty handed  .............anyone :?: ....no me neither  !!!

I'd say dotte 2 and silkie 2. I don't know if this helps but we had a session on poultry photography and were told that composition (basically the picture should divide into natural thirds top to bottom and left to right) was important as well as getting a good shot of the bird/s (ie in focus, see shape/feather well etc) as well as having that special 'something' which makes the picture stand out/be memorable.

My baby boy! He's grown soooooooo much and it's so nice to see his adult crest feathers that were tiny stumps that'd just poked through when he left me. He seemed to be growing millions of new feathers all at once and his head looked so sore. He's so handsome and he's so lucky to have found such an excellent home. Of all the boys I've hatched he's one of just two that I've been able to find a home for, Busby doesn't know how lucky he is.

Oh My Goodness Tasha, He IS gorgeous, what a proud looking handsome fella! Those photos are amazing, i love 1 and 3 but the full frontal of his lovely head in no.1 really does it for me.

Thanks for the photos Tasha they really are great with that lovely sky, very atmospheric :D

He's quite rare because Crele Polands don't tend to breed true, they'll throw out allsorts of odd mixtures of colours but he's done very well with his colouring. He was hatched from an egg from Luci at Birdhaus, her Poland collection is amazing. I have my eye on her LF Tolbunts! They're even more rare!
