Egluntyne
Got a copy of this for Mothers Day. Just made the Vanilla Cupcakes with Chocolate Frosting. Heavenly. Light as a feather. Made 12 and here are 2 left. Or there were last time I looked.

chickencam
I think I am right in saying that there is a really lovely recipe for a lemon cake with poppy seeds in it in there that my OH made. He used whole eggs instead of just egg whites which the recipe said, and it was lovely. He also left out the lemon syrup and just did the icing. It is a lovely book, I bought it from the Book People for £4.99 for my OH for Christmas, he is the cupcake king

Seagazer
I did - I've got a glorious shiny red one. Its actually virtually the same colour as my OH's motorbike so he really likes it too I've only made meringues so far so I've got to get baking and mixing. So far so good. My YS really, really likes it too and can't wait to use it. I'm guarding it at the moment though, its mine, all mine
clootie
One of these books called my name on a flying visit to Waterstones today. It would have been rude of me not to buy one.
kinsk
I am so jealous of anyone with a kitchenaid mixer I've got a mini version of the book and made the vanilla cupcakes out of it last weekend. They were lovely, mine welded themselves to the paper cases though although after a day or two iced in a tupperware box they came away really easily
chickencam
We made those and found the same.

fluffyknickers
Yes i make the brownies quite a lot and they are the best and VERY easy. I make a lot of the cupcakes - will try and post a photo by in the meantime will this work - http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/photo.php?pid=4773241&id=787146718 I am making 60 of the cupcakes for a friends fundraiser and also making my brother and his fiancee them for their wedding (on a stand with a wedding cake at the top). Have made lots of the other items including the three later choc cake but found the filling a hassle so now just make a ganache (cream and choc).
