One Man Banned
Gosh it seems that we're all falling apart...now who mentioned the vets...... Been away from the forum for ages and missed you lot Had those nasty bugs before the gig, then I went on holiday, last week back at work was a nightmare as the other duty manager was off and left SOOO many things for me to do Had a VERY bad weekend, twas our work Christmas party and 10 of us hit Bristol, not too bad but (yes I had drunk alot) I took a turn for the worse at about 2am. Woke up in my hotel room and talked at length to Ralf on the big white phone Since found out that it WAS food poisoning, as one of the other girls went down ill and she had tried some of my meal (it was a buffet chinese thing and I had the veggie option that was cooked specially). Was not much fun driving the hour home on my own feeling poorly On Monday I got terrible back pain which I still have (doctors are checking for Kidney infection and will know on Friday) and raging sore throat, got not sleep and still went to work yesterday Phoned in sick this morning and probably will tomorrow too, spent most of today neatly tucked up in bed resting - with a Mollydog cuddled in for company too....bless her! Hope everyone else feels better soon, I know I can't wait to feel better A xx

One Man Banned
Joey is quite good, he provides lots of pills and stuff and set me up with lots of juice before he left for work this morning. He did mention that I could cook dinner tonight but I have just taken 10 mins to make a tuna melt panini! - the kitchen looks a right state! A xx

Chickpea
Can I roll in with my duvet please? *hands out hot water bottles* I've decided to stop ignoring the sore throat & sneezes that are shaking the house (and making my mum jump!) & spend what I can of the day in my pjs. I hate being ill.
hillfamily
No good............can't ignore the sneezing, sore throat, runny nose, headache, ear ache any longer Daughter has same smyptons (Son is all better now ) so as it's cold, dark and raining here today (and we're on Half Term this week ) we're curling up on the Sofa with hot cuppas, the cat and a few good films . Lots of room on the other sofa if any wants to join us May even break into emergency chocolate stash Hope everyone starts to feel better very quickly..........big hugs all round
Tina C
I would love to join you on the sofa (what films have you got?) but I can't - I am supposed to be working. I've been rough for the past 3 days. Not sure how I have resisted the urge to crawl under the duvet (I work at home). I have had to sleep in the guest room as I've been coughing all night. Hope everyone recovers by the weekend.
Guest
I must say im a terrible patient OH does fuss and i hate being fussed over I'm like that - When I'm ill enough to be in bed, I just want leaft in peace, with the occasional offer of paracetamol, water, juice and brow mopping. But never more frequent than once every 2 hours, so that's what I offer when others are ill. Chookiehubbie on the other hand, requires constant fuss, sympathy and attention so that's what HE offers when others are ill...
