chickencam
We have been buying these recently and our cats are completely hooked My ED calls them cat crack, because as soon as we go near where they are kept they are queuing up even Ziggy who isn't normally food driven at all. My OH gives them to them, so as soon as they see him they are all over him. It does say no more than 15 treats per day on the packets. We think that Whiskas are getting the cats of the world hooked then they are going to take over the world or something, it is very disturbing Anyone else had this experience? Laura & CTB
Strange how certain treats appeal to cats yet others they turn their nose up at! We have the same problem with Webbex delights sticks which we started feeding to the cat when he wouldnt stop hassling for the fish food flakes now we only have to walk towards the drawer they are kept in and he's there! Maybe you should do a taste test to see what all the fuss is about
Daphne
We had the same reaction and so I've stopped giving them Its bad enough being herded into the larder by a cat expecting his pouch for supper The thing which slightly concerns me is that we notice a mad 5 minutes some evenings post Whiska tins. I wonder whats in it?
chickencam
Whiskas have a world donination plan, with cats
LisaP
Exactly the same here and my DD had given them exactly the same name too DD's cat Chloe is completely addicted to them and although we managed to wean her off of them, the Whiskers dried food in the purple box now has the same effect. She miaow's more or less continuously until we given in Our other cat Mellow likes this food a lot but he I wouldn't say he's an addict Strangely though neither of them seem to like the Whiskers pouches Definitely some kind of domination of the cat world going on Lisa P
Cinnamon
Chilli loves them & as they are also part of the dry food,he picks them out of that first too I have boxes at strategic points around the house for when cat wrangling is required. All it takes is a tiny shake of the pot & he is out from wherever he is lurking,at the speed of light. Proved very useful at 4am this morning when he barged into our room & went under the bed
Groovychook
My cats will do anything for these ! They are called 'Special Biscuits' in our house and they have to be hidden in discrete locations. Drawers have been opened and bookcases scaled in order to get hold of them. I've lost count of the times when I've come downstairs in the morning to find a chewed and empty container on the floor . Now even Tinker has got in on the act... caught him yesterday, running round the house with the see through lid clamped in his mouth- looked like a cat shaped welding mask! There present location is on the top of my larder cupboard I think that they're safe there, but it's only a matter of time...
Eggquisite
Yes We have the same reaction - I limit our two rascals to 4 treats a day (each that is).. that seems to keep them very happy We hand them out when we go to bed, so yes - the second the lights go out in the lounge they know it's time for bed & race upstairs

MimiMeow
Never tried the Whiskas ones myself but I find my two cats go utterly nuts for tuna, they can smell it a mile away the second you crack the can open and you cannot get rid of them until you give them some. Certainly keeps thing interesting when all you want is to make yourself a tuna and mayo sandwich
Space Chick
My cat hates them In fact he's not a fan of any treat. He has Go Cat in the same way as treats Whiskas have a world donination plan, with cats Nah, my cat doesn't need Whiskas for world domination plans, when you see him sat on the leather study chair he looks like he'd plotting world domination I reckon all he needs is a human on his lap to smooth
Roobaloo
We thought it was just our cats!!!! We call it Kitty crack too....our Tabby becomes a ninja if he knows we have some in the house, he'll climb or open almost anything to get them....then will sit and scoff the lot!!! He gets really aggressive over them too!!! So we don't buy them any more (unless it's time to worm or de-flea him!!!) What on earth do they put in them???? Webbox sticks are the second best thing in his 'expert' opinion!!
Gem_Seb
Definately call it kitty crack here as well!! ours have now worked out which drawer we keep them in, came home from work and they have somehow managed to open the drawer get the tub out and got the lid off! holes all over the box where they were obviosuly trying for a while, eventually managing to get in and eat the lot!! I think there may be a secret pinch of cat nip or soething in them!!

chickencam
I have only just caught up with this again. Glad we are not the only ones. We discovered the other night though that Ziggy will only eat them in the lounge.I tried to sneak her a few away from her greedy sister the other night in the kitchen and she told me that it was all wrong and stalked off
