Like your own little Biology practical ... then you get to eat it at the end I'd put her in the broody cage if you don't want her to hatch some bubbas Lewis thinks he needs to go on contract. Kitty is taken out of the nesting box regularly - she screams and starts bokking her head off when she is put on the draining board in the utility and made to eat food! She will scoff it all up and bok with her mouth full. She's allowed to go free when her crop is full - that eases pressure on fussy Squirt who doesn't like Kitty sitting on the roosting bars like a vulture. Although yesterday I wondered where they were - Squirt sitting next to Kitty quite happily and with Patch on the other side. A Kitty sandwich. We think Kitty might be snapping out of it - there have been signs of longer sessions outdoors and she doesn't peck us now. Have tried the separation bit, but she boks loud enough to waken the dead - considering she's small. But then have you heard how loud wrens can be? There's one outside the back door - perhaps it's nesting and boy does that warble cut right through you ears - I have a nice little ventilation tunnel now.
