Soggy run

[The Dogmother]

It was lovely and hot Sarah, although it was a tad windy on the beach that day. Yup, I go very brown (Phil calls it 'photochromatic skin') - Italian blood

Here's a pic of Rosie, my Mother and I stuffing our faces on delicious crepes , you can see where I get my dark skin from......

[Sheilaz]

I saw some crocs in a shop in bury over the weekend.

Hey, Gina, Bury's my home town.......... well, where I grew up and where my Mum still lives, I came south about 25 years ago, but still regard Bury as "home". Not much of a holiday destination though, unless it's changed a lot. Do you have connections there?

.......Just guessing, but I think Gina went to Bury St Edmunds, not your Bury, KateA.

[Chicken Licken]

I just ordered my first crocs - hope they fit.... offroaders in chocolate and mint green - perfect for opening the chicken door in the early hours methinks!

[Martin B]

Did anybody notice that the woman who was building her eco house on It's not easy being green was wearing red crocs tonight!

[Christian]

Just ordered my first pair of crocs. Couldn't wait 14 days for the navy blue ones, so have opted for sage green, more in keeping with the garden me thinks!!!! Can't wait!

I ordered them from Jellyegg. Any idea how long they take???

*taps fingers impatiently*

[AnnieP]

Christian they are really quick, as long as they have them in stock (Just ordered some Caymens for my mum, but they won't have them for 2 weeks ).

If it didn't say otherwise when you placed your order, expect them in 48 hours!

PLEASE wear them when you come to see us: I am trying to convince Jonnie that he needs a pair: It took me 10 years to prise trainers off his feet and get him in flip flops for the summer..... Crocs are an even taller order I think

[Guest]

Annie

Dan has chocolate brown Caymans, he wears them in the garden. He thinks they are great

[AnnieP]

He MUST bring them down when you come to visit!

[Guest]

I'll make sure I pack them

[Louise]

Jellyegg got mine to me well within 48 hours so I had to go and collect them from the sorting office I had timed it so they would arrive on saturday but they showed up on the Friday

I ordered them at 5pm on Wednesday

I have news

I went to our local Costco last night AND

They have crocs

£13.49 for children (no Vat)

WAIT FOR IT

£17.99 plus vat for adults which works out at just over £21 a pair so I am now the proud owner of Fushia pink Caymans

The only down side is they only had childrens and caymens and there wasn't a huge number Costco are great for bargains but they sometimes get stock in sell it off and don't get any more and you have to be a member to shop there I have membership through my work so I get it quite cheap £13 a year

Don't all rush at once

[Cinnamon]

Wow Louise, that is a good price

I have the fuschia ones - they are gorgeous, aren't they?

[Louise]

Oh yes

"Ooops, word censored!"ody at work has seen me yet I am waiting for all the

[Lesley]

I don't think we've got a Costco nearby

[The Dogmother]

Nor us Lesley, but my folks have one near them.....

I forgot to tell you this

When I was trying to find a pair the right size there was another woman looking for a pair of childrens ones in her size (tiny tiny feet )

She couldn't work out the sizes so I gave her a hand and she was well impressed with my knowledge of the product when she asked about fit I was able to give her chapter and verse about the differences in width fit etc Then I showed of my red Mary Janes

That was before I realised they only had the caymens

[Louise]

Never mind

I can't believe how Pink they are I nearly wimped out and went for salmon pink but then what the hell I like birght colours and if no one else likes them stuff it

[AnnieP]

I love my fuschias... in fact, they are going to be making a guest appearance somewhere important today... Hopefully, they will deflect attention away from other areas....

[The Dogmother]

Rosie just loves her bright pink ones Louise - she wore them all holiday and her new holiday friend wore Rosie's red ones

I have emailed Jelly Egg to see if they will be getting childrens' Mary Janes in navy for Rosie.

I wear the childrens' size 3 - they're a bit big, but it means that I can get my thermal sock in as well in the winter.

This evening Annie?

Haven't told OH that i've ordered them yet! Was an impulse buy at midnight last night!

[Helly Welly]

I hope they do them in childrens sizes as then i can persuade Mum to get me some

We'll work on your Mum for you!

I think she forgets that i read these threads too!!!!

Its her Dad that will need the persuading more than me, if i could only get him into a pair, he'd understand

I'm good at that - aren't I Martin?

[Guest]

My window cleaner asked me about Crocs yesterday and so did someone who runs a farm. And I noticed someone wearing Crocs on "It's not easy being green" last night

They are everywhere! We're doing a good job!

[The Dogmother]

I keep spotting them too Ginette - even saw a tiny toddler with a small black pair when we were on hols
