The Dogmother
The clip I saw of Gavin, was of him sorting his haiin the mirror in the bit I saw of him, he seemed to be totally devoid of any facial expression at all and had his mouth hanging open - looked vain and gormless

Seagazer
Watched the show where they got paired with their partners after we got back from holiday. I'm not keen on most of the men but am sure that hubby will like a few of the women I thought the new Russian male dancer was absolutely fantastic (no idea what his name was) but he really could dance. I actually couldn't even tell you which pro he danced with as he was so good at dancing. I am very excited about this Friday. I cannot wait. Egluntyne
Wow!! Matt Baker and Pamela Stephenson were astonishingly good. What a start.
Plum
Aaaarrgghh just got in from work. Roll on tomorrow. Hope it's on watch again.
jlo
OH put it on last night. I must confess that I don't have the slightest inclination to watch it this year. Sorry to be controversial but I just find it a bit....passe. I watched the first bit with Felicity and then wandered away to read my Kindle! Seagazer
Matt was just brilliant, we couldn't take our eyes off of him. Pamela and the Eastender chap were really good too. I loved his raunchy waltz and Pamela's was very sweet. Really looking forward to watching the series if this level of dancing keeps up. Not so keen on Goldie, think he just needs not to treat it all so jokey. Actually even Paul Daniel's wasn't too bad, at least he put a lot of effort in. Felt sorry for Patsy, she looked very uncomfortable and not very happy. She kept pulling at the skirt of her dress and it looked like it was slipping. She did mention it when she talked to Tess. I wonder what happened. Can't wait for tonight.
Snowy
Drat I forgot and missed it last night, and going to an 18th party tonight Can I watch it again anywhere?

Griffin
I loved it, Matt was such a surprise! Mr Griffin moaned non-stop until he saw Ola then prayed that sticky tape holding those feathers in place would fail Despite his protestations, I bet he tunes in again tonight too
Couperwife
I watched I thought Patsy looked terrified I really enjoyed Pamela - thought she was quietly classy and i thought Matt was brilliant (I like him ) roll on tonight cathy x

MarkBevBen
Just caught up - it's ace havings Sky+ as you can whizz through it! What a fab first show though. Wow didn't Matt do awesome? I loved the start and their costumes - he's definately one to watch! Pamela also did fantastic I thought too - another strong contender I think! Awww when Billy came to watch and he said he had a lump in his throat Though Felicity did well also Poor ole Patsy, she looked really uncomfortable - I think she has done since the very first show when they all met though bless her. Hope she can manage to overcome her nerves a bit. Mmmmm Goldie, not sure I thought he might have been a bit better and as for Paul I giggled from start to finish!! Tess didn't look her usually lovely self I thought Bring on tonights show yay! xx
MarkBevBen
Woops forgot to say about Scott and Natalie... wow what a waltz that was hey!
MarkBevBen
Gavin Henson looks so vain and full of himself, not my type at all. I couldn't agree more - let's see how he does tonight!
Lavenders_Blue
Matt was brilliant and Pamela too. I also thought Felicity Kendal was good. I don't think she will last more than about halfway through but she's good. I get fed up of people booing Craig R-H. Okay he's a bit of a grumposaurus but usually his criticisms are intended to help the dancer improve e.g. hand placements or footwork. I suppose he just needs to choose his words and tone of voice a little more carefully sometimes. I can tell already that Alesha is going to get right up my nose again this series, but I shall just press the mute button while she is offering her 'advice'! susanbb
The "Widders Experience" just made me ....... Bring on her salsa
Alis girls
Widders was fantastic and a great sport and Anton was too - her send up of herself clodhopping round the floor has me in pleats, I think they will have probs getting rid of her cos the public love her. My only criticism - can someone get the poor woman a descent bra - like a lot of larger bosomed ladies her boobs have a life of their own - I remember Trinny and Susannah taking Jo Brands boobs in hand and making her look slimmer in the process. brilliant Anne - hang in there girl
chicken bark
Anton must be a brilliant teacher. To get Anne so that she at least looked as though she was dancing was pretty skilled work. Gavin seems to in love with himself for my liking but he surprised me with his dancing. I was expecting him to be really wooden but he actually did well. Mats my favourite so far but it is very early to decide favourites yet.
Egluntyne
Loved it. Ann Widdecombe is an absolute belter. Her repartee with the judges was hilarious.
Plum
Agree. Michelle she was just so up herself, I'm afraid I was rather pleased at the judges comments and marks.
susanbb
Agree. Michelle she was just so up herself, I'm afraid I was rather pleased at the judges comments and marks. I think she thought that she as much better than she was and seemed "deflated" to say at least with the judges' comments. It'll be interesting to see what the public thinks
