I sort of agree with Len that they should come out and do a mix of either Latin or ballroom and not go down the throw them up and catch them disco type of dance. Saying that Pamela's didn't do it for me as James copied too much from Dirty Dancing and she's too stompy.

 

I've been voting like mad for Kara and Artem, she had me in tears in her vt and her rhumba is just so romantic.

 

Matt's show dance was dire, not good at all. I wish Kara had done a different showdance although her's was better than Matt's.

 

I'd have loved a similar showdance to Tom and Camilla's. :D

Fantastic result and the best dancer won on the night! I'm so happy that Kara won, we've all been in tears in this house. I still don't think she realises how great at dancing she is.

 

Artem has consistently given her the most difficult and technical dances to dance and she's danced them beautifully. Wonderful waltz and I just loved their AS.

 

Hope her arm isn't too badly damaged, it looked as if it was really painful.

It was a brilliant night. I think unfortunately Mat had burned out a bit and the judges didn't seem very warm to him. Pamela danced really well and I like her show dance the best but Kara blew me away.

 

I'd have been happy with any of them winning.

 

Roll on the (pre recorded and always slightly disappointing) Christmas special. :dance:

WOW indeed! What a brilliant final - the best yet! I too think Kara should have won on merit - I have a soft spot for Matt and thought he took it very graciously but although I think all the romance hype will have helped them I really rate him as a choreographer and her as a technical dancer - and she looks the perfect picture in her lovely dresses! I felt that Matt was really let down by the choreography - he is a brilliant dancer and wasn't pushed in the right direction.

 

But what a show and what a difficult one to call - Bruno was quite clearly wanting her to win by the end. I will miss it on Saturday nights....got the live show to look forward to in Feb...who reckons Vince Cable might be a dark horse next week? :wink:

Brilliant show - I wanted Pamela to win but they were all worthy finalists. Shame we didn't see her AT. Matt would have definitely won if he had been paired with someone like Olga who can choreograph properly. I have no problem with Kara and Anton winning - she was a beautiful dancer but I found I couldn't warm to her for some reason.

 

Thought the group dance with Paloma Faith was genius, using the series trailer music to finish it off. What to do now until next Setember :(
