Egluntyne
Have just picked up 4 hens from Little Morton Farm this morning. 2 Cream Legbars, a White Star and a Light Sussex Hybrid. They are stunning hens and I was more than impressed with the set up. The place was spotless and the chap who helped me choose was friendly and knowledgeable. Now to choose names. Pics to follow. Olly
Ooh, new hens! *said in the voice formerly reserved for new shoes* I find hens much more enticing than shoes, these days - and they always fit ... poppy ben grace
Very pretty girls! Lucky you! I would love a cream legbar and light sussex... I think hen shopping is much more fun than shopping for shoes/handbags!

Egluntyne
Have come over all A Midsummer Night's Dream and gone for the names Peaseblossom (White Star) Cobweb (Light Sussex Hybrid) Mustardseed and Quince, (Cream Legbars). I know, I know, the 4th fairy was called Moth, but I didn't care for that, and the two Cream Legbars have very light mustard/quince colours in their feathers, so the names suit them very well.
