quickcluck
Honestly it was nothing posh, the cutters came from Lakeland, they are a vanilla biscuit, but you could use mixed spice for flavour.... then I iced them simple! I just thought it looked pretty so thought I'd share
Patricia W
I saw those cutters in the Lakeland catalogue and nearly got them. Wish I had now! That's fantastic.

quickcluck
brilliant, dont forget a pic! I'm thinking of doing a mini one made out of a flower cutter for a friends birthday with pink icing!
Lesley
Great idea! - I wonder if my grand-daughter would like one in January - probably not pink though...... Did you use roll out icing on the top of your biscuits or run-out royal icing?
quickcluck
I was short on time so used ready rolled with the biscuit cutters, I stuck the icing on with glaze....
Lesley
Thank-you. I thought it looked very precise My grandchildren and niece and nephew will be here tomorrow and want to make mini gingerbread houses - I will show them your biscuit tree and give them the choice. I will be making royal icing for sticking the houses together but I have roll out icing for making snowmen so they could make either.
