Purplemaniacs
I like the name Jelly Roll, sounds like my belly! Emma.x I had to look it up on the interent to find out what it was, thought it was like a swiss roll but then it would have been in the wrong section Chrissie
Plum
I've never had a jelly roll. I feel so tempted by those patterns that I think I may be off shopping

craftyhunnypie
Hmm they have jelly rolls in ' Aberdashery' in Aber. Easter present? I love what they did with them in the first you tube video - very clever! However, I don't have a rotary cutter, so that would be another purchase! Christian
Get one Emma, they are really handy! I bought a jelly roll a few weeks ago and am still wondering which quilt to do. Thinking sewing 2 strips together, then cutting into 8 3/4" mini strips, then doing alternate 2 strips one way, 2 strips the other to make a square, if that makes any sense?? I know what I mean..... craftyhunnypie
I'm no pro, but I get what you mean Christian! My jelly roll purchase is slowly looming. I'm wondering what colours to go for & where to get my 'roll' from. I could go to the local shops, but they didn't have much choice. Snowy
I did one by sewing 3 strips together, then cutting it into triangles and sewing the triangles back into squares (sounds very complicated but was very easy!) I stitched the light strips together, then the dark strips together:
