Ain't Nobody Here
Don't worry, I'm miles south of that, that's a photo from a Cairngorm website . Having said that, I was walking Riley this afternoon and could've done with a hat and gloves it was so cold .
The Dogmother
Good grief! Mind you, was just walking the hounds and my hands are quite cold.
ali-s
Still in Winter here I had to wear my Winter wool coat, gloves, scarf and hat. Flurries of snow in town according to a work friend, also hail showers on and off all day. Temperature of 2oc but the gale force winds made it feel so much colder. Storage heaters are of course not on, it is nearly the end of May The house is freezing apart from the living room as I have the stove lit. I so need some warmth and some sun. The Dogmother
Bitterly cold here today, very windy and wet, but we're due warm and sunny weather at the weekend.
Groovychook
We've had a bit of rain here overnight and it's cloudy and cool. Not too bad though at 12 deg. Weekend sounds good though- flip flop time again

Angie
I awoke to a wet and very blustery day. Then i got out of bed and thought this is pretty Darn cold too, came down in suitable clothing and still felt cold , temp in the sitting room was 15c.......After 2 hrs.......i gave in and threw the heater switch. It feels more like November here.
The Dogmother
It's 7deg here, up on the hill at work, 17deg in the office and extremely windy; the diggers and monster dumper truck are catching the wind and the farm gates have malfunctioned due to the strength of the gusts... it's like a washing machine on spin cycle out there! Groovychook
Nice weekend here too although didn't warm up as much as the weatherman predicted. Blustery and grey today. Think the rain's on it's way.

Purplemaniacs
I agree Chickencam, it was vile yesterday. I had to go to the National Sports Centre at Lilleshall nr Telford for an Archery meeting, going wasn't too bad very wet and lots of spray on the motorways but coming back the 2 hour journey took just about 4 hours. The weather was horrid and the M6 was closed. I was very pleased to get home Today doesn't seem much better wet and misty, at least I don't need to go anywhere today as it is half term Chrissie

Groovychook
Dull & drizzly here too and much cooler than of late. The garden desperately needed a water though- it was getting very dusty out there. It's been glorious and sunny here for days and days and days! Hope it comes back soon

chickencam
We had a little drizzle in the air this morning but it was warm and slightly humid, brightened to a lovely late afternoon and evening.
The Dogmother
It got muggier here in the afternoon and then cleared; it's now clear with a nippy breeze.
Groovychook
Lovely here in the late afternoon too, but clouded over again and another wet night. Very grey this morning and more rain to come by the look of it.
The Dogmother
We're due plenty of rain today too. Overcast, muggy and drizzling here this morning; 15deg outside and 17deg in the office - no need for a heater today.
Valkyrie
Sounds pretty much the same all over. The odd spit and drizzle this morning, then dry - the sun tried hard to come out. Very windy but raining a bit harder now. Ah well the plants need it. Apart from the easy trek to the goodies for the slugs and snails!
The Dogmother
Dark and drizzling here now and the wind is picking up - not at all how it should be in June, but as Val says, we do need the rain.
Groovychook
It's been rainy and blustery for the past two or three days but today it's just dull and humid. Another fine sunny day due and then the return of the rain... Just heard the man on radio 4 say that some parts of the UK are going to have quite significant downfalls.
