My favourite blog is my cousins http://pinchypants.wordpress.com/ It started off being about her life in general; her hubby and kids and work, but then when she was diagnosed with breast cancer she started talking about that too. I guess I love it as I can hear her voice when I read and plus she is family. But she is a writer by profession, so it is well written too. There is a bit of language in it, just to warn you, particularly in the past year.

I also love http://attic24.typepad.com/weblog/ She has done some brilliant tutorials and this was where I learnt to crochet.

This is also another one I like, but haven't read much of http://rumpydog.com/page/24/ Its written from the animals perspective

I read quite a lot of blogs, but I add to them and delete from my favourites at regular intervals when I discover a new one/get bored.

Attic 24 is one of my favourites, but that's because of her crochet stuff.

I discovered this marvellous lady just a day or two ago - Betty Bee, definitely one for any larger-than-average ladies to read!

And this is a quirky little blog that I've enjoyed following for a couple of years - Much Malarkey Manor, mainly because the blogger is interested in similar things to me (chickens, bees) and I like her writing style.

What I can't bear are the 'got up, went to the shops, came home' type of personal diary, I like to read the blogger's take on life and their musings rather than the routine of their day. And I really, really can't stand people who post photos of their meals - the best chilli con carne/casserole in the world doesn't really translate to a photo except as something rather brown and gloopy looking!

My favourite blog at the moment is down---to---earth.blogspot.co.uk. The lady who writes it is in her mid 60's and lives in Australia. She writes about living a more simple, less commercial life. She crafts, cooks all meals from scratch and grows her own veg. I found her blog about a year ago and follow it every day.

Ah, thanks Ryan.

Kinsk, have to say I laughed at that one an awful lot - then had to stop because I spent too long howling at it. The fake tan section . . .

The fake tan was hysterical; thank you so much for posting this :D

Oh dear, I can see many an hour spent on this blog when I should be doing other things! Thank you for posting the liky :D
