Ooh, blimey, I was hoping that the 'inside' didn't count!! The Dogmother
Seems there are quite a few folks who have TVs or other technology in their bedrooms, interesting. I don't have anything apart from a DAB radio (recently upgraded from an old wireless) but then as some of you know, I am rather old-fashioned when it comes to TV I have trouble staying awake long enough to finish off the day's paper, let alone get any reading done
Lavenders_Blue
No technology in my bedroom either apart from my Lumie alarm clock and hubby's radio alarm clock. I like my bedroom to be restful, not buzzing with gadgets.
The Dogmother
That's exactly how I feel, there's a landline phone but I don't take my mobile up with me, that's turned off when I get in from walking the dogs and it stays off until the next morning. chickencam
I agree, I had several glorious technology free years, but OH has recently bought a tv for our bedroom, I don't mind in the mornings, but I get cross if it is on at bedtime, because there is a tv downstairs if he wants to watch, but there isn't a bed downstairs if I want to sleep
Olly
Me too - a radio as I like to wake up to Radio 4 and catch up on the news while I get dressed in the morning, but no TV. I only have one TV in the house and rarely watch it. I only take the mobile upstairs if I need to set it as a back-up alarm, I have been known to sleep through the Lumie AND the radio so if I have a train to catch I use it. Groovychook
I take my mobile up to bed so that I can have a quick play on draw something before I read my book I sometimes use a relaxation app too. It's definitely not used for calls- precious little reception here for that! OH has the radio on his bedside cabinet, but that's it for techy stuff for me. I unplugged the one in our room and forbade Phil to put it on, Rosie had hers on though and sadly spent most of her holiday in her room watching it.... another good reason not to use the telly at home! Mercedes55
I will confess to having a nice flat screen TV on our chest of drawers. It's lovely to sit in bed in the morning watching BBC1 Breakfast with a nice hot drink
