Omlet cube and run

Plum and I decided to set each other a challenge - she was to make a quilt and I had to make a piece of felt. The brief was....silver birch trees, A4 size.

 

This is what I sent to Plum....

Isn't it amazing. I'm so lucky to have this beautiful piece of work. It's even better in the flesh, lots of colours and textures silk and wensleydale I think plus embroidery.

 

Here is the piece I made for Lesley.

 

 

Just before posting I remembered her fear of orange so the corner squares have changed colour.

Well. they are fantastic!

 

I had to work as well - I'm more used to smaller sizes.

 

Plum - your photo is resized.......it's just that the A4 where you live is somewhat larger than we have here!
