Groovychook
Vile for the past couple of days but dry and brighter at the moment. Still very cloudy though.
soapdragon
Hot, hot, hot! 30 degrees and OH is cooking roast beef etc for supper tonight so oven on full! Mind you, forecast for Monday is 18 degrees and wall to wall rain !

Groovychook
It's been hot and sunny here since midday but the sky over towards the west is an angry shade of airforce blue
The Dogmother
It has been very humid and hot here all day - still 27deg even at 8:25pm! The sky has cleared, then massive clouds have heaped up on and off all day. Phil came up this afternoon, and we took the dogs out to one of the village fêtes, then sat outside the pub looking out over a local valley, and watched the clouds massing. Disappointingly, we haven't had any storms yet, so I have just been out to water the pots.
soapdragon
Cooler here today but, looking at the sky, could go either way! Hoping for some rain this afternoon; I have some lavenders to plant and can't get the spade in the ground...its baked clay! Plus the waterbutt is empty again
The Dogmother
Was the same here this morning. I took the dogs out early and got outdoor things done while I could.... good job really as it's raining now. All my water butts are empty too. Groovychook
We're having a lovely warm, sunny day... what a difference 24 hours makes. Making the most of it because I know it's not going to last.
sjp
we had a warm sunny and muggy morning but it started raining about oneish with next to no wind
mullethunter
The forecasters couldn't have got today more wrong if they'd tried. They forecast heavy rain all day,but it's been beautiful - dry, sunny (blue sky with white fluffy clouds) and warm.
The Dogmother
11deg, dark and wet; they got that one right then.
Groovychook
It has poured down all night. Quite humid too so had a sleepless night. Don't like warm and wet
Purplemaniacs
Ok here at the moment, overcast. I have done a couple of hours gardening already as the forecast is wet later. Chrissie
chickencam
We had heavy rain yesterday afternoon and again over night, just started raining again now too. We were in the car for about 7 hours yesterday and managed to miss most of the heavy rain which was great, I hate travelling when it is pouring down especially on motorways. The Dogmother
Only 9deg this morning, and chilly. There were geese flying south this morning, and starlings singing their going away song on TV aerials as I walked the dogs
mullethunter
One of the wettest most horrible mornings I've ever had at work this morning.
The Dogmother
It has been thrashing with wind and bucketing on and off since midnight, very dark, but still 14deg, so not too cold. I don't envy you out on the water today, mullethunter
Groovychook
Vile yesterday until late pm, followed by a very wet and even windier night. All seems calm at the moment with a glimmer of sun.
The Dogmother
We had a calmer, brighter slot too... For all of 10 minutes. Back to thrashing around now, water butts are fully though
chickencam
Monday was vile here but yesterday was ok just a couple of short showers. Rained overnight heavily another 14 mm just drying up now and the sun is trying to come out.
Groovychook
Lovely day yesterday but it's raining again Lucky to have got the lawn mown. It had grown so long with all this warm, wet weather.

The Dogmother
Been wet here on and off for most of the day, warm though. Had my dad up for the weekend, and we managed to get quite a few things done.

Purplemaniacs
It was lovely here on Saturday, good thing we picked that day for the archery club open morning Yesterday morning was drier than expected but wet in the afternoon and over night. Grotty this morning. OH was going to an amateur radio rally this morning but when he looked at the forecast he decided not to go as many of the traders won't go when it is wet. Feel sorry for people and organisations who have organised things for yesterday and today. DS and his girlfriend and her extended family are on holiday I hope it is better weather for them.
