Lovely pictures, but you won't be seeing one of me!

gavclojak, I always read your name as gravadlax :oops:

Seriously, though, it is easy to assume that we are safe on this or any forum, and to imagine that you have developed a relationship of trust with other members. Always be cautious and don't give too much away is my motto. It is easy for anyone to pretend to be something they are not. Having said that I have met umpteen Omleteers over the years, and they are a great bunch.

It's so funny seeing photos, people really are never what you expect (although I couldn't put into words what I do actually expect!) You all look lovely (which you obviously are because you keep chickens  ).

I have posted this in another thread but you obviously missed it if you think I'm a bloke  . (I'm the one on the right  .) I too have giant children, I'm average height 5'6" but ES is 6'3".

 Just read through this thread, so funny and some fab pictures :D I won't be posting a selfie, I'm sporting a massive spot/ insect bite on my forehead at the mo and my OH says I look like a cyclops  (dog house for him!! Cheeky so and so...) I'm obviously(?) female and picked my username because I used to get called Claireabella all the time (or just bella) in my old job.

Gavclojak, you'd make a good psychologist with that natural enquiring mind

Come back Beantree!!!

I think the word is nosey

No, not at all! I think we're all a bit naturally curious aren't we, you just have the guts to ask  I too thought Beantree and Mullethunter were men, sorry  I now know you are all woman Mullethunter  The jury is still out for Beantree...I think it was mentioned in a thread once but Beantree wouldn't give it away - ooo the suspense...

Lovely pictures, but you won't be seeing one of me!

Aha! you'll have to pay me not to post one then :lol:

Can't find any of me with chickens, which is odd as I had some taken for the byline on my articles  This one was taken a couple of years back, as was the one with my two lovely hounds:

Wow! Absolutely not what I had in my head!

Of course Mullethunter was a man... But that is a lovely photo with your Bernadette!

And somehow Dogmother looks much younger than I expected....

In my mind most of you who I thought were ladies, I imagined in leather boots, leather waxcoat and matching hat... Might have been watching too much Midsummer murders....:lol:

What great photo's. All these years (ahem well obviously not days of yore years) and ANH has been posting away. Actually not far from what I imagined really, although ginger in my head - don't ask me why! Not because of being Scottish - Cloots is but I never imagined her with ginger hair. And my boy towers over me too - hugs have to be under his arms now! My daughter still trys to be taller than me but I have the edge - she can only do it in heels.

In that photo I'm leaning back so a lot of the flab magically disappears - you should see what was on the other side of the log. Or maybe not - even I don't want to see that! Bleurghhhh!

I've met so many Omleteers over the years - you newbies - well I never imagined such bright hair! Don't know why - Snowy is pinky sometimes, and Chicknboo is a nice shade of wine - or brighter. Always fancied a green mohawk - but I think my son would disown me - did run it past him once and it got the thumbs down - and that wasn't including the mohawk!

Nowadays I meet new peepsies and the memory goes into instant overload and I recognise the face but never the name! But when I come to think of it the brain was like that when I was young too.

Shows are a great place to meet up - and overdose on hugs to last till next time!
