Poo help please!

[Egluntyne]

At long last. Am glad I waited though, as the prices have come down significantly.

Coming on Friday.

Don't hold your breath re it going up. The old one has yet to be demolished and hurled on a skip.

[Ain't Nobody Here]

Ooh, exciting .

[Olly]

Ooh! I'll be very interested to see how you get on with it.

My WIR from Aviaries4U is holding up well - think it is about six years old now, I can't remember but I recoated it with wood preserver a couple of years ago. I'd definitely be looking at an Omlet WIR when/if it gives up the ghost though.

[PixieDust]

Ooh exciting especially as you have waited so long. We will need pics

[Bramble]

That's very exciting, I'm not jealous or envious, not in the slightest

I'll be very interested to hear what you think of it!!

[mullethunter]

What size have you gone for Egluntyne? I bought a 3x2x1 when the prices went down but won't now be using it until the chickens move house

[Egluntyne]

I've gone for the large one.

[mullethunter]

Oooh you lucky thing No longer you were saving up

[Chicken shack]

Lovely news!

[Purplemaniacs]

How exciting I hope you love it.

Looking forward to seeing pictures when you get all the work done.

Me too, ordered a 2x2x2 with Eglu run connector which arrives tomorrow! The prices are much better than before.

Anyone know if there are still hooks to hang treats from? Can't see them anymore in the photos.

[mullethunter]

My lo-rise didn't come with any hooks

[Lewis]

A friend has one of the original WIRs and loves it, it seemed really well thought out and functional when I was helping to look after their hens.

The only thing that puts me off compared with wooden WIRs is rain protection and having a roof but I guess you could put corrugated plastic on top as with previous runs.

Look forward to the photos and hearing what you think of it!

[ZoeBunny]

I got my 2x3x2 just before Christmas (annoyingly at old prices) but I have to say I am so happy I finally took the plunge. Best thing I ever did - got my two cubes connected and fixed my old cube run on the side as an isolation/chick rearing wing)

You won't regret it!!

[eve]

Got my 2x2x2 tried to put it up this afternoon gave up and starting again tomorrow the instructions really need some improvement. Now me and hubby know what we doing should be easier to do with a good nights sleep.

[mullethunter]

I could cope with the instructions, it was the clips that drove us mad. I think when we rebuild it after moving we're going to use cable ties

[Egluntyne]

At long last my WIR is up! I can't quite believe it! The other one fell down on Boxing Day. Stevethehandyman put it together for me and I am very impressed both with the WIR and Steve.

Pictures to follow. Of the run.

[Cat tails]

And not Steve? Poor bloke!

[The Dogmother]

Great news Egluntyne; I take it that Him Indoors couldn't be persuaded to help then?

[Egluntyne]

*Snorts*. it would have rusted in its boxes before that happened.

I am really pleased with it, and so are the hens.

[Purplemaniacs]

Glad to hear that you have got it built now.

Looking forward to seeing photos of the WIR.

Well done Steve!

[mullethunter]

Ooh yes let's see it

[Plum]

Great Egluntyne I was so sad to see your other lovely run cave in. It made me give mine a good check over and paint with cuprinol.

Looking forward to pics
