Egluntyne
Wow Stoice. What a talent. Time for some hens pics methinks. I love the little frog. Why not have one of your paintings as your avatar, or all of them in an animated one.
stoice
How do you do several pics as an avatar Egluntine?
The Dogmother
They are lovely Rachel. You might find The Boy's site interesting; he works as an illustrator - photo-realistic stuff - but he has done a few fruit illustrations for adverts in the past. http://www.ps-illustration.co.uk/Home.html

Maccbean
[quote="rachel19" Sadly ubereglu people don't seem to be willing to help most of the time - I can't find somewhere to display mine either. Just keep trying and im sure you'll get a breakthrough Hi Rachel Don't know if I can help at all, but I work with an artist who has a gallery in Northumberland. She paints cows, but also sells other artists work, I could have a chat with her if you like. I also print a range of bags and picture canvasses with her art on for her to sell in her gallery, so if you are looking still looking for prints, perhaps I can help. Let me know. mostin
Thanks for posting your pictures Rachel, I really enjoyed seeing them. As a scientist I have the kind of brain that can not draw what it sees so I really admire it in other people. In fact I am quite
A chickychickychick-ENN!!
I can't belive one so young is so talented. DO put yourself round the galleries. Some of them may well knock you back, but that's because it's a numbers game. It's the same with writers. Look how many amazing artists and writers get knock-backs early in their careers. But if that does happen it is no way a reflection on your talent, merely the galleries' business and financial decisions. You got talent girl! Keep on rocking and get door knocking. Your pictures have a luminescence and vibrancy which is really impressive. Anna x

You might find The Boy's site interesting; he works as an illustrator - photo-realistic stuff - but he has done a few fruit illustrations for adverts in the past. http://www.ps-illustration.co.uk/Home.html Claret, what a superb portfolio. In a former life (ie before children) I used to commission illustrators. Tell me, (slight hijack alert) as a newcomer to Omlet I am curious to know why Phil is always referred to as 'The Boy'...?
