clootie
What did they do to poor Brian Conley's hair?
Grandmashazzie
Go Debbie,go. Amazing for her age. I might start voting for once
Cat tails
Poor reverend. His partner had the most revealing "dress" of all. He definitely had a hard time trying to figure out were to hold her...
Valkyrie
OMG - not the "lovely Debbie MGee"! We only have Netflix and Amazon Prime now, so all these things are beyond my scope now. But from the comments it sounds fun.

Valkyrie
Um, I might have a quick lookiesee! And then bolt for my rabbit hole!
Valkyrie
Blooming Ada! Look at the lovely Debbie McGee go! Fair play. I watched a fair few. I liked Chizzy with her boogie fever - she was having the best time ever, which for me seems the best part of it. Not too keen on the serious ones, but I love the jive. I always wished I could do that - even tried via youtube (before tripping over my big feet) so I think I shall still be a secret wannabe jiver - have to wait for his lordship to go to work. Yet I found Morris dancing much easier! Thanks for the linky Puddytails. Edited to add I like Nadiya and Davood overall. They really click. Cat tails
Without iPlayer on this side of the pond, one has to get creative!
Valkyrie
Just remembered when I was 10 my mum made me go to ballroom dancing lessons (run by one of our school dinner ladies), but I love doing the polka and waltzing - but I was tall and always did the lead! Not many boys - that were anywhere near my height - and not many boys at all! Went to a morris festival with a friend and we had a dance - a nice young lad asked me to dance and there we were fighting to lead in a polka! Not one of my better moments - he gave up while I took over!
The Dogmother
I can imagine!!!!
The Dogmother
Crikey bit of a shock to see Chizzie go over Brian. I'm afraid that the latter had about as much musicality and rhythm as a cardboard cut-out, whereas Chizzie was fun to watch and obviously enjoying herself. Plum
I agree he really stomped around. Shame.
Valkyrie
The Brian fan club was bigger. He doesn't do anything - the girl does all the work while he struts. *cough peacock!
The Dogmother
Did anyone else think that his partner looked tearful?
chickencam
I think that he made his partner feel very uncomfortable by constantly planting kisses on her! I thought Chizzy should have stayed too, I smell a rat!! I do wish that the little gymnastic one can't remember her name at this late hour, needs to calm the tricks and stick to the dancing , she seems to like to use strong men to make her look good. Do love a bit of glamour on a Saturday night though.
Egluntyne
I expected Charlotte to go. She was dire. I loved Chizzie's enthusiasm - and she could dance, which is more than can be said about Brian.
Grandmashazzie
Yes Charlotte wasn't great, but I expect Brendan has a big fan base who vote.Am still marvelling at Debbie. This year seems to be few excellent dancers and a lot who are terrible,it will be interesting to see how they improve.
Willow
First time watching strictly, delighted but was not at all surprised at Debbie's performance. She is disciplined, hard working and a very professional experienced performer as was Paul. I was surprised when I heard she was on it as not having seen it before I thought the programme was looking for celebrities to try something they would find a challenge. Glad the show explained why people were famous as I only recognised some, although still no idea who the blond older guy is. Bewildered by Claudia's make-up, looks a little like the sort of look I'd have tried as a teenager. I've never seen her or Tessa in anything before and they come across as lovely but the make-up
soapdragon
Only dipped in and out very briefly on the one occasion but thought that the couple worth voting off were Claudia and Tess (a)? Equally those people sitting behind the desk thing were not very good either....somewhat static so maybe they should go
The Dogmother
Some very good dancers, and some really dire ones too... much as I love Reverend Richard, he really hasn't any flair for dancing and Charlotte is stiff and wooden.
Cat tails
That Aston is amazing! And I looove Debby and Susan.
The Dogmother
I could watch him dancing all night
Grandmashazzie
Me too. I always think Brendan expects too much from his partner and expects them to be able to do complicated, fast routines from week one. I thought the poor girl looked terrified. Valkyrie
Wow Debbie!!! Sadly I think the Rev did better last time - and he looked happy then, this time was too stern Flash. This time I think the Wonder Woman (Susan?) routine wasn't very good. But hey ho what do I know. I also preferred whoever did the Charleston last week Ruth? And the Top Gun girl - does she remind anyone else of Kim Basinger? Edited October 8, 2017 by Guest
