buffie
URGENT APPEAL We have a new Co-ordinator in the Coventry area who will be carrying out a hen collection on the 29th September 2007. If you can offer a good home to some retiring ex-bats, please contact either Ian or Mollie on 07806 924 969. We currently have about 75 hens seeking caring homes that offer the opportunity for freedom, fresh air and free range facilities. Thank you BBx Edited September 17, 2007 by Guest

craftyhunnypie
I'm wondering whether to get ex batts or pekins? Or maybe pekins this year & get a second hand eglu in Spring for some ex batts as well. One thing is sure, I will definitely rescue some battery hens in my lifetime! Wonder if my sister would like ex batts as she has a whole farm they can roam on. Imagine all that freedom for them! I'll have a word! Popcorn
We've been waiting for the Coventry co-ordinator to resuce some hens as we'd love some. We've also been trying to save some money to extend the run, but haven'tbeen able to, so it's a no from us this time, sadly. Hope to be able to help out next time. Did you have any luck with Sunrise Eggs Buffie?
