Trish
I read somewhere that it takes 6 weeks to form or break a habit. so that gives me till mid Feb to start eating only when I'm actually hungry
theherd123
Im so glad that im human like the rest of you! I adore cheese too and the other day bought 5 different blocks when shopping & i only popped out for some bread!! Im a real carbs girl too Annie - fresh bread with butter, mash and not forgetting CHIPS! Must say i can take or leave alcohol even though we have enough in the house to sink a ship! I like a drink but not every night. Im thinking of starting a yoga class as i hope it will help my back and core stability & also take me away from the fridge!!! Snowy
I need to lose about 4 stone but unfortunately, I have a major problem with my body image. When I look in the mirror, I see Marilyn Monroe!

Lesley
I'm going to get back into Pilates - I'll have to do it at home as I won't be able to perform some of the moves, but I was trained properly before so I'm not worried about doing it that way. Next weekend it is my grand-daughter's and my daughter's birthdays - I'll be eating cake and going to the Thai restaurant - then................. I'll get on with it. I should have finished the Christmas chocolates by then as well
AnnieP
I'm curently helping to finish off the Christmas beer: Then it's abstinance, starting on Monday! (the one day I will probably need a drink more than any other day of the year: First day back at work and the first anniversary of Jon's Dad's death. ) Ah well, if I can abstain on that day, then I can do anything! Snowy
Curves in all the right places, eh Snowy? He hee! Yes, plus one or two extra in the wrong places, just for good measure!!
Egluntyne
This section of the forum is a revelation to me....I don't remember ever having ventured here before! So I'm not the only one who can't say no to a slice of bread slathered in butter, or a piece of carrot cake.....phew...that's a load off my mind. I'm quite pleased that I haven't touched any chocolate at all this year, but I can't say that the pounds are melting away as a consequence. I do eat healthily, I don't eat meat or drink alcohol (except for the odd glass of champagne!), I walk a fair bit. SO WHY AM I AT LEAST A STONE OVERWEIGHT?? Perhaps I should start smoking! Martin B
Perhaps I should start smoking! I don't think that would benefit, I'd rather be a stone overweight than smoke!
