Can you help - 15 mins of fame!?

Recommended Posts

Yes well said Gina - I suppose I could just about s"Ooops, word censored!"e into the age range (providing they did it within the next 3 weeks  ) But I really don't think I fit any magazine idea of glam either (thank goodness!) And do they realise that self sufficiency and glam do not go hand in hand? I thought about having nail extensions done again this Christmas, but don't think they'd look too good with chicken poo under them! :?8)

If it were a David Bellamy conservation award we were going for, I'd definitely go for it. We like the natural garden - ie: our trees and holly hedges need cutting!!! Way too tall & overgrown - hubby's latest idea is he wants to buy a cherry picker!!!

Come on girls whose going for this filming??? Must be someone on here!!!

Whose the one with the lovely long hair who got married, greek connections?? She'd be perfect for the part & glam too!

What about Cheryl, our newbie who was getting a cube for hubby's xmas but couldn't keep her mouth shut? Her avatar looks very glam ... and she's a stained glass artist!

Come on Cheryl  .

(Do you think by glam they mean wearing a bikini and lots of makeup, draped seductively over the eglu run? That would be a great look  )

Well, I wear a bikini when I'm chainsawing in the summer..would that do?

Too old and not nearly glam enough, especially if they want my usual chicken outfit of nightie and wellies with wooly socks!

Where's that Rhapsody bird?!

Wrong time of year to be interviewing people about keeping chooks and growing veg! Our chooks are knee deep in mud at the bottom of the garden and our allotment is bare at this time of year. Should have looked to interview us glam types in the 'summer' when we could have been wearing Cath Kidston tea dresses while harvesting our lollo rosso...

Yes I agree - as usual they don't have a clue - and will not find anyone to fit tall their criteria! Unless someone lives on a sunny island

I was approached by a tV company wanting to film me up my allotment - but they wanted to do it in February/March -:roll: Not much to do except shovel manure :lol:

Go on - someone should volunteer for it!! 8)

I fit the age bracket but not sure about trying to live the Good Life - we do our bit but not to any mega-extremes. Definitely not glam, as anyone who has seen my picture on the front of the newsletter can testify!!

The programme Faking It once approached my OH's work to look for a volunteer to take part but apparently OH wasn't geeky enough! That would have been amusing.
