Yes well said Gina - I suppose I could just about s"Ooops, word censored!"e into the age range (providing they did it within the next 3 weeks ) But I really don't think I fit any magazine idea of glam either (thank goodness!) And do they realise that self sufficiency and glam do not go hand in hand? I thought about having nail extensions done again this Christmas, but don't think they'd look too good with chicken poo under them!

If it were a David Bellamy conservation award we were going for, I'd definitely go for it. We like the natural garden - ie: our trees and holly hedges need cutting!!! Way too tall & overgrown - hubby's latest idea is he wants to buy a cherry picker!!!

Whose the one with the lovely long hair who got married, greek connections?? She'd be perfect for the part & glam too!

Wrong time of year to be interviewing people about keeping chooks and growing veg! Our chooks are knee deep in mud at the bottom of the garden and our allotment is bare at this time of year. Should have looked to interview us glam types in the 'summer' when we could have been wearing Cath Kidston tea dresses while harvesting our lollo rosso...

I fit the age bracket but not sure about trying to live the Good Life - we do our bit but not to any mega-extremes. Definitely not glam, as anyone who has seen my picture on the front of the newsletter can testify!!

 

The programme Faking It once approached my OH's work to look for a volunteer to take part but apparently OH wasn't geeky enough! That would have been amusing.

Well I'm in the age bracket and am glam (in a 50's americana chic style) but not prob in a covential enough way for this sort of publication.

 

Oh and I only have the chooks, my mum has the veg, so I would need to borrow someone elses house lol!
