chocchick
Right, except English. Folk dancing but NOT like that horrible country dancing from school Fun and social with alcohol and good bands The caller person tells you how to do the dance. chocchick
I liked country dancing at school Sorry Some people are put off by folk country dancing and especially morris dancing Don't know if Jan will use my suggestions or not, prodded OH into making enquiries. Actually sort of volunteered him BTW Jan has just got back from holiday and is looking at mid-August Oxfordshire and a marquee. But just don't tell anyone I told you! No really there are no arrangements yet just intial enquiries.......

No really there are no arrangements yet just intial enquiries....... Speaking from experience (I organise all our corporate events), she'll need to get it booked soon as everyone gets booked well ahead! I have the number of a good marquee supplier Jan if you're listening.

ChookieCaz
August Bank Holiday would be good. Me and Mum were going to do something with the baby that weekend as Darren is off to the Reading Festival, so would be lovely to meet up then. The children and I would welcome an excuse to miss the Festival and OH didn't appear too bothered. There is nothing marked on our callendar for that day at the moment. ChookieCaz
I think the children would prefer barn/country/... dancing to the Reading Festival, though I suspect it might be that they like laughing at their parents when we take part! Anyway, we have booked our holiday (in August) some time ago, as many other families have and the callendar is getting filled with other dates, so are keen to know when the Omlet Get Together will be to put that on the callendar. Please excuse my impatience and eagerness to finally meet another Omlet owner (or two)
