feemcg Posted July 27, 2008 Share Posted July 27, 2008 Hi everyone, just popped in tonight to have a quick look and thought I'd post......for the 1st time in about 4 months! I was reading Clarets blog - didn't realise you were having an op Clare, hope you're recovering well - then was reading back some posts. I came across a post where a few members said they wondered how I was and were missing my posts - well it brought a wee tear to my eye, thanks to those concerned. As some of you know Allan and I split up and I was in a bit of a state for several weeks, but I'm happy to report that over the last couple of months I've done a lot of 'sorting out' and I'm now back to my cheery self. I've lost a stone and a half, been doing a lot of walking, quite a lot of socialising......and a fair bit of 'dating' , and kind of go around with a permanent smile, lol. On the chicken front, I decided that I had way too much on my plate and was actually getting quite stressed out with the work involved so I didn't keep any of the Light Sussex and Exchequer Leghorns that I hatched in March - some were sold to forum members. 2 of my old girls died and I'm keeping 2 wee Wyandottes that I hatched that are now 14 weeks. So I'm sitting with a much more manageable 10 and no plans for any more hatching!
