Ardene5
Hi Everyone Here at sea level in Preesall near Blackpool it has started to rain but it is turning to sleet / snow as this is being typed. Not sticking on the ground but it is not night time yet only 1.52 p.m. so there is chance yet!!! How is the weather in your neck of the woods wherever in the world you are today? Best regards Ian & Valerie Just been to Blackpool this evening it is still sleeting but no snow. Best regards Ian & Valerie

The Dogmother
Ooo, send it here Egluntine.. it's cold but clear in Banbury. I've filled the hot water bottle up and am just about to go to bed. It's be so nice to wake to snow tomorrow.
Egluntyne
I'm hoping I will be able to see rat tracks in the snow and then I can fathom out where the blighter is living. I wonder what Ruby will make of snow?
Ardene5
Hi Everyone It was a cold night here in Preesall near Blackpool but it has not snowed looks like it has rained. Yesterday when we looked across the Morecambe Bay to the Lake District you could see the snow on the hills. What type of weather do you have where you live wherever in the world you are? Egluntyne
Nope. Darn it. Icy here and very cold. Most of the snow from last night has gone though. The main roads are clear, but side roads dodgy.

Groovychook
Yesterday we had hail and snow... which didn't settle but it was lovely and blizzard like for a good while! Today it's bright and cool- 2.5 degrees at 8am. It must've been cold overnight because there are traces of frost and the ground was nice & crunchy on my trek to the cube! I wonder what Ruby will make of snow? I hope that you can spot the little critters! Ruby loved the snow when we had a wee sprinkling a while ago, but we haven't had any deep stuff yet. She was very distracted though, so it was hard to get her to do anything I wanted her to! Cold and clear here last night, +1.3 at 6am and not much more now. Some blue sky, but light high cloud too, I'm optimistic for snow today
Egluntyne
I hope she gets the chance to play in some of the proper deepstuff. Bitterly cold here. Snow all gone, but paths lethal. Very sunny and cloudless though.
Groovychook
OH has just informed me that we had thunder & lightening during the night & I slept through it! Weird weather at the moment- it seems to be throwing everything at us!
chickencam
It is quite pleasant here at the moment about 6 degrees sunny with a light wind. Hopefully the garden will dry out a bit today, the chooks are not happy at not being let out.

chickencam
I have given in and let the chooks out, I told them very sternly to leave the muddy patch of lawn by the tree alone, what are the chances of them taking any notice??

Chook n Boo Mum
Listening and hearing are not the same thing then? Back to the weather, it's not very warm and very overcast The chooks are already banging on the door for their "tea", it will obviously be dark early today! The Dogmother
It has been beautiful here today - chilly out of the sun, but lovely in it. It is clouding over now though *pouts*
ali-s
Frosty and icy this morning. Cold and grey the rest of the day. Chucking it down now and nearly dark Roll on Summer
Old Speckled Hen
What a contrast I drove up from Middlesex this morning and it was sunny all the way to Blackpool where the skies darkened. Chooks have been shut in for two days as DH is at work all day so I let them out for an hour. Now its chucking down hail and sleet and there is a bitter wind. Kentmere and Red Screes covered in snow.
