Jesus!

Recommended Posts

Well the title says it all really!:lol:

Isabelle has been comandeered!

I went to a rememberance day service at a new local church today and a lady approached me to speak about the Nativity Story - you guessed it - Isabelle is going to be Jesus!:lol::lol:

I hope she doesnt trump in the manger - that is her new trick!

All she is required to do is lie in the manger and Mary, Joseph, the shepherds and kings will sing 'Away in a manger' to her - whats the guess she cries all the way through?!:roll::lol:

So at only 5 weeks old she has been 'spotted'!

You never know what the future holds - Jesus this Christmas and Hollywood next year!

How lovely.

My YS was Jesus in his sister's nativity play at school. She was Mary....and she volunteered him.

He was born mid October and so was only about 6 weeks old on his big day.

He was dropped on his head during the dress rehearsal.......which explains a lot really. :D

I think that's wonderful! What a very proud mother you will be. They could have asked you and DH to play Mary and Joseph.

You must get in some straw and make sure she has got used to lying in it!

I hope she fairs better than the one at E's nursery nativity. Baby Jesus was knocked out of the crib and rolled across the floor. He was then picked up plonked in the manager and the straw thrown on top of him. Fortunately Jesus was a doll

Can't wait to see the pics

My son was comandeered as Jesus when he was a baby too. He was born late September, so wasn't too old. It was a "come and dress up as part of the nativity and join in with the tableau" type of Christmas eve service at my mum's church. Luckily OH was also asked to be Joseph, so I didn't have any worries of my baby being dropped. I think Joseph had rather more of a paternal role than men normally used to have in those days!

Unfortunately we didn't know it was going to happen , and , as it was before the days of phones on cameras, we didnt' get a photo :( so make sure you do.

When the elders were discussing later if my son could be baptised in the church. someone said that he was Jesus so they were duty bound!
