gracefruit
My children are off to Ireland to meet their baby half-sister and my husband has managed to get a bit of time off from work. We have three glorious child-free days to sleep in, hang out, and go out. Yay!

Clur
The weather was ok for me to get out into the garden! I've trimmed the hedges, hubby cut the grass, I've got rid of the wood chip in the girls' run and scrubbed it out, sanitised it and replaced the chip, scrubbed out their eglu, brushed down the patio and dug over one raised bed. DH is off to grab us some lunch, I'm about to have a hot bath and then DD will be going down for a nap and DS off to the park with DH and the dog. So I'll get some peace to do some other bits and bobs. Best to do these things while I have the energy and can flake later!
Seagazer
I had my hair done this morning and everybody keeps saying how nice it looks. I got two arrows grouped together (which is good) in the gold on the 20 metre target at archery this afternoon This was the first time I've done 20 metres. I have to say that my 10 year old shoots at 40 metres but I'm a total beginner.

Plus we went to Westlands craft fair this afternoon and I've now got Mum's, Sarah's and part of Adam's christmas presents sorted. Sheilaz
Love reading all your posts, what a great topic. Well, today was my last day doing my usual job and being manager whilst we were without one! Phew, turned the key this evening and thought how relieved I am to be handing over to a lovely new manager tomorrow. Hope my family & friends still recognise me, it's been hard work. So good news now as I revert to sensible hours, more time for them all, and maybe more time on the forum! Very, very happy!
Bassett
It's so nice to read about everyone's good news. My good news is: I turned 40 this weekend and had a lovely, lovely time. Every decade of my life has been better than the previous decade, so I'm really looking forward to my 40's - they have a lot to live up to beat my fabulous thirties!! My Mum bought me a really beautiful watch - it's gorgeous. I really like my new job . I was nervous about working again after being a full-time mum for so long, but it's fitting in so well with my family life. I'm so lucky to have wonderful children, lovely husband and a lovely home - I love my life! That's it for now. xxxx
