ubereglu
Well earlier in the week I got my new glasses, courtesy of the opticians I did my work experience at-it paid dividends for me and we only had to pay £12.50 for them as we got the frame half price and they covered the thinned lenses! Anyway, here's a picture of me in them! Anyway, I'd be interested to hear what you think of them! Liz

ubereglu
I love them!! I can never find a decent pair of glasses that look right right on me. You did well!! Well done!! Well I can't see when I try them on anyway, so had to get my sister to take photos and Ben had to put in some contacts for me to actually see what I looked like so I could decide between two pairs. I have to go for a certain shape and really dark frames don't suit me at all. I'm chuffed with them and so was the dispenser!

Seagazer
They look lovely I'm taking my daughter with me next time I get glasses. She has some lovely glasses as well. Somehow I always end up with the same type and they're quite boring.

ubereglu
aww they look lovely I really need new ones and contacts BUT can't afford them at the mo x Aww, how long have you had the current pair? I had the last pair for two years and as I wear them all the time the lenses had got really scratched. At the least I get a new pair every two to three years. As my prescription doesn't really change.
Rona
They are lovely, the shape really suits you and fab colour. Very and snazzy. I like the suggestion that you should get a to match
Looney
I have a good way of justifying the cost of buying new glasses.... ....When you work out how often you wear your glasses and then divide by the average length of time you have each pair you'll realise that they are actually very, very good value for money. For example I wear mine daily so if I spend £100 on a pair they cost me about £8 per month (less than 30p per day) if I keep them for a year. I usually have them longer than a year mind you. For something that are constantly on show and become part of your image (i.e. when people see you, your glasses are part and parcel of the image) I think it is money well spent Have I convinced anyone yet ?
