Looks like it is going to be another lovely day. A bit misty at the moment but the sun is burning that away. Already feels warm outside.

 

A couple are getting married at the school today so I am working from 2pm till late o'clock. I would much rather be at home in the garden instead of serving the wedding breakfast.

Very frosty last night, but lovely today. Sat in the garden to cool off after pottering in the greenhouse - bees buzzing round, butterflies flitting and warming themselves on the cube (tortoishells), blooming flies. OH promised me a drink, so I said I would just finish pricking out the last lot of begonias - and I am still waiting for the drink! So I am going to make the drinks instead (I'm sure that was his cunning plan in the first place) and go back outside and make the most of it.

Lovely and sunny first thing, but the clouds are building up - still lots of blue sky in between though. Colder, similar to yesterday.

9 degrees and cold wind to-day but the sky looks as if it is clearing up a bit from being grey - whites on boil wash to get a blow outside to-day - its shirts which have been sitting in the wardrobe and are a bit yellowed

We went to Abbey park today and it was lovely, as long as the sun was shining. Bit chilly when a cloud came over. Still had a nice time though

Hi Everyone

Was overcast on Sunday and this morning it is blowing a gale here in Preesall near Blackpool.

 

On Saturday night / early Sunday morning Missy had here puppies 4 girl bobtail boxers and 2 boy long tailed boxers and up to now everyone is doing fine.

We will post some photos later.

Since I got up at 6am we have had snow, sleet, hail and torrential rain. It is bitterly cold and crikey the wind is very strong. The sun is now shining.

Yesterday after posting, it turned out very pleasant after all, again a chilly wind. Today looked a bit iffy - lots of grey thin cloud with the sun trying to break through. Finished mowing mum's lawn before the rain - but it was nice and sunny, lots of cloud in between the blue gaps and windier than yesterday. We get the odd nasty looking clouds with silver linings and then they get blown over quickly. I keep wishing that it would get the rain over and done with!

It is really dark here today, no rain yet but a cold strong wind. I am glad that i spent most of the previous 2 days outdoors

Sun gone now, various grey clouds making it very dull. The wind seems to have picked up quite a bit now.

We had a sudden downpour and the wind was so strong that it forced the rain under the front door here at work and halfway across the hall floor!

Absolutely vile here, torrential rain, very windy and cold I was too busy at the weekend to clean out the chickens, and it doesn't look like it will get done today either
