The girls had a good journey here, they bokked a bit when I hit bumps in the road They are eating & drinking well, & settling in fine, considering they aren't used to an eglu.

 

 

 

 

 

Now I just need to decide where to put Bert. He's on the patio temporarily

we are planning to introduce them in a couple of weeks (with supervision)

but if that goes badly we may end up with more bantams

 

Bert would also be used for our hatchies

so hopefully they could get a 'good word' in for them with the big hens

oh, what beautiful girls!... they look so clean and fluffy- shame they all don't stay like that!

good to see 'burt' is on the patio, we are expecting our chickens and eglu on Thursday( not long now, yipee!) and we where thinking of putting them on the patio to start with- looks as if its working well! great minds...
