Almost the same happened to me over 50 years ago (Iwas about 8 at the time) Someone broke into my Dads' shed and killed all my hamsters (Mum, Dad and 7 babies) and scattered them all over the garden. I was heartbroken and couldn't understand the mentality of that evil individual against a helpless animal. I never will. I so hope you find Rolo safe and well.
