bigmommasally
I lurve coffee - hate tea. It makes me gag. I went off it during bad morning sickness with DD1 25 years ago and the smell takes me straight back there - Head down the loo

Sheilaz
I'm alright, the only smell I still can't abide from that time is washing powder.
Willow
Cup of tea in bed first thing. Then coffee with breakfast, maybe one more cup coffee in the morning. Tea after that. Camomile tea by end of day. Proper coffee made in a cafetiere is one of my few extravagances - Fairtrade only for both, tastes much nicer (especially the coffee) and feels like it's the right thing to do. Can't bear instant coffee now
Egluntyne
Same here! - the smell of instant coffee has me heaving It is the smell of real coffee that does that to me. Browsing Waterstones is torture now that they have one of those Costa wotsits inside the store in Sheffield.
kitbag
I love them both! I need coffee in the morning though!! I will always love tea - if I don't have at least a cup a day, I can't cope!
Valkyrie
Used to hate coffee - wouldn't touch the stuff. Now I have it black and strong. I used to drink very milky tea - as a child with 2 sugars, then mum changed sugar to hermesitas - bleh. Drank tea without sugar at all. In the end it got so that I was drinking hot water with milk and just let the cup look at the teapot. Reason for switching to coffee? Better tasting without milk when dieting. Although I do like herbal teas - especially the Spice Delight by Hambleden Herbs!
jenimac
Coffee - all day, every day. Drink "real coffee" at home always. However, at work certain brands of instant are acceptable. Only went off coffee during my 5 pregnancies - no pregnancy test required!!!
fluffyknickers
Bleurgh both gross. I am 32 now and for years my mum keeps telling me I will like it - I DON'T! Michelle

Me & my friends drink the all the time Tonight at someones house we had beer followed by tea (black with one sugar tonight ) - classy!
When I'm at home I rarely let the kettle go off the boil! tea first a few cups of coffee (usually instant and not overly strong) then lots of tea Work days are very dfferent Karen x

poachedegg
I don't like either, though I could drink tea under sufferance.......the only time I enjoyed it was when I was given tea and toast after having babies in hospital.

I still can't stand the smell now I had a dream that I accidentally drank a bottle of yellow fabric conditioner and I can't have it in the house now Off to make a cup of ginger tea

chickencam
I have tea first thing, then one cup of real coffee, made with my ancient Gaggia machine, mid morning. Tea for the rest of the day with the occasional Red Bush or fruit tea thrown in. My family think I am obssessed and know that the way to my heart is to make me a hot drink Can't stand cheap tea bags or instant coffee. I have expensive tastes and use loose leave tea, but have to change the brand each time I finish a packet because I get bored with the flavour. Anyone else find that? gracefruit
Coffee (preferably espresso) before noon and tea after. Some of us need a good jolt in the morning.
Janty
I like both...coffe has to be strong though. Sometimes I have it black and sometimes with froth. It has to be proper coffee though. I can't stand instant.
fluffyknickers
Just wanted to add that when people offer you a cup of tea and I say "no thank you" and they say "coffee" and I say "no thank you, I don't drink either" they look at you like you have two heads! I joke (well its actually true ) that I only drink wine, water and Mojitos! x

Sunshine
I totally agree mazzyc. I don't drink any hot drinks and everyone does look at like i'm mad when i say no to any hot drink. The only hot drink I like is hot ribena, but i only have it when we go to cold places and everyone will buy tea/coffee there. I volunteer at Cancer Research each Friday and each week the manager asks me if i want a coffee/tea and each week I reply 'no thanks'. She still hasn't got the message after 1 1/2 years of volunterring there!

I drink Whittards Cinnamon and ginger......as it doesn't taste like tea at all (tea..... ) Erk just went to look for the ingredients and I must have finished it all! Must get more. It's sort of licoricey/aniseedy/clovey and I think it has cinammon in it, but not sure. Overall flavour is like a blackjack of sorts. I tend to sniff the teabag lovingly before adding the water - although it makes a gooey sludge in the bag afterwards!
