Was just wondering today when mum went to sisters RoA and kept getting asked for drink orders she said tea, to which the person next to her said ' Oh, really? I hate the stuff'

So, just wondered are you tea purists or coffee addicts?

Personally, I adore tea! :D ...not like coffee so much, ditto sister, however mum enjoys frothy cappucino, and dad has tea at home, but coffee at work :?

So which?

or both?

:D

Neither, just boiled water now,

I had a real problem with Coffee, I used to drink around 200 grm of Coffee (without milk or sugar) over 4 shifts while at work. I kept feeling quite ill !!!!! eventually went to the doctor's and a blood test showed more caffine than blood cells in my blood.

Had the "quit now" speech from the doctor. Not had a cup since 1996 although I think about drinking coffee everyday. I still really crave it.

Walking along any high street is particularly difficult as every other shop now seems to be a coffee shop or has sneaked a coffee shop into it's premises.

Trains and Buses is also difficult as every other passenger seems to have Coffee in a plastic cup and they all come and sit next to me.

Nightmare.

I've voted for both but it is not really the case that I love them. It depends on my mood as to which I have.

For some reason, I have gone off the Lattes recently which is a shame as I used to love them. Not sure why but they make me feel a bit icky at the mo.

I will drink tea more or less how it comes except that it HAS to have some colour in it. My darling MIL dips her tea bag in the water for a nanosecond and that, IMHO, is NOT tea and she may as well have boiled water!

 Might change my signature to "would you like a boiled water?" I think.

I "chain smoke" tea & coffee all day, yes I love both. But only very weak, I prefer weak instant to real coffee, and tea one step from dishwater, but make it stronger for others!

Confession time; I actually make a coffee & a pot of tea together to save time, drinking the coffee while the tea is brewing.

Mmmm, off to put the kettle on.

I'm sprry :(

If I have to refer to coffee from now on I'll call it 'the bad thing'

Don't worry I'm begining to get used to it

The guy who is allegedly my "bestest friend" thinks that it funny to order me Liqueur Coffee when we're out on boozy nights in restaurants to "test my will power". I never drink it, but probably end up having to pay for it.

Thats what friends are for !!!!!

Back "in the day" my favourite snack, Mug of Coffee (Tablespoon of Coffee) no sugar, no milk and a chocolate "Boost Bar" Happy Days,

I had to tick I hate both - although i do drink half a dozen cups of coffee a year!

I do have a small cup of cinnamon tea in the morning with a teaspoon of honey - that usually ends up as my breakfast

I drink hot chocolate if I'm out.

I like both but if I had to give up one I would give up coffee. :D

I now don't drink any caffeinated (sp?) drinks in the afternoon and I find that I sleep much better. I'm a terrible sleeper. If you struggle to sleep it really is worth giving up afternoon caffeine, takes a week or so to take effect but I found it really made a difference. I've suggested this to other people and they've noticed it helps too.

I also love herbal teas but don't like fruit tea, they smell lovely but taste eurgh!

Tea for me too please. I do drink coffee occasionally but even decaff gives me headaches.

Me too. I used to drink coffee occasionally - after meals - but it gave me killer headaches so I just stopped. But I did have an espresso when we were camping a couple of weeks ago so maybe, now I am older...

But I LOVE tea, will never give that up.

I have a cup of tea when I first get up. Then I have two cups of coffee in a row. I may have a cup of tea or coffee in the afternoon. I have also got into Red Bush (Rooibos) tea which I have a cup or two during the afternoon/evening.

If I had to choose my fave it would be a cup of coffee. Preferred coffee is Nescafe Gold blend mmmmm :D
