ClaireG
i shouldn't be here really The move is going really well so far The pantry door has blackboard paint on it and someone had drawn us a lovely pic of a little cottage scene and written Welcome Home above it I did have to laugh when i tried to put some dinner plates into one of the wall cupboards and they didn't fit!! Thank goodness for the small walk in cupboard We are picking up a second hand range later and will have to do a bit of a re jigging exercise as the space that the Rayburn was in is smaller Hope we manage to connect it ok to. I've already decided which will be the chicken area of the garden and where i'd like to put some raised beds

Omletina Kyckling
........just to update you all as ClaireG is without broadband until sometime tomorrow... I've just been to visit her in the lovely little thatched cottage she has moved into and it is really gorgeous, very quirky and full of character! The garden is huge (and about waist high with grass at the moment!! She needs a few sheep, never mind chickens!) She's done a great job of getting it really homely already and all the bedrooms and lounge and kitchen are all up and running. She should be back on here in the next few days to update us all, but I thought you'd like to know how she's going on!

ClaireG
Hello! I'm back online The rest of the move went really smoothly Simon and Adam managed to mow the grass late yesterday afternoon and i didn't need to borrow any sheep The range wouldn't fit where i wanted it but it's in and working well. The girls arrived here at 10:30 last night! Si thought it would be easier to catch them when they were going to roost. They appear to like it here as we had the full quota of eggs this morning! There's a lovely tea room which does breakfasts, light lunches and teas and also acts as the village shop. The pub reopens on Friday and they are having a villagers only bash which we're planning to go to. All we have left to do at the old place is take down the WIR and move a few bits left in the garage We are all settling in well and love it here already. Will post some pics for you soon
Yorkshire Pudding
Oh that's lovely. Thankyou for letting us know! Perhaps she should borrow a few alpacas to get the garden trimmed? HEN?
ClaireG
alpacas sound better than borrowing a few sheep! Only problem is that Diane or I might pinch them!
Valkyrie
Glad it's all going well - looking forward to the pics. Now you'll have to check out the tea room too.
