Chickvic
Well done! I used to shave my hair that short all the time - I loved it! Now I'm growing it and I'm not entirely sure why
Scramble
I've just had mine cut but only to have a fringe put in It still comes to past my shoulders teenage girls though, never ask them to deny their hair.
fluffyfeet
One of the maddest things I've ever done was chopping all my hair off. I'd spent ages growing all the layers out and it was about 4" below my shoulders so I had a spiral perm - all the rage at the time. Anyway within a couple of weeks the ends were breaking off, and trimming didn't help so when the hairdresser said there was nothing they could do I suggested they shaved it off. They thought I had gone bonkers and took a lot of convincing but did as I asked and I loved it - Grade 4 all over - middle of a hot summer too and as I spent a lot of time on motorbikes I avoided 'helmet hair'. Ex-husband hated it too - double bonus Dawn x

bluekarin
you are very brave. I keep thinking of having all mine chopped (its down to bra strap level) especially when its all hot. But unless it was for charity, I don't think I could do it.

Aunty e
I always used to have a really short crop - I loved it, and it was so fetching, but then I decided to have one last fling with princessy hair before it became age-inappropriate! I might find that it all gets hacked off after I have the baby so it's easier to deal with, but everyone has told me to avoid cutting my hair during pregnancy as many bad-hair disasters are caused by the hormones and the mistaken belief that a haircut can make you look not-pregnant. PurpleTree
I'm been wondering about shaving my hair off, it's pretty short now - I had it all cut off after having the kids! I do the boys and hubby's hair with the clippers and I always think I could save myself so much money if I did mine too. Might one day you never know, maybe the same day I decide to dye my hair purple (something I've always wanted to do). I have plenty of hats if it looks terrible. Scramble
my sister dyed her hair blue AND purple blue on top, purple at the ends...
Valkyrie
Well done, and such a good cause. I don't think they'd want mine - too much grey (or platinum highlights, ahem). But it is down to my bottom now (usually plait it up out of the way - can't bear it short any more).
