DD and I were so cross. Two of our favourite acts in the bottom 2. How did that happen????

As for the twins........................... Who on earth keeps voting for them? :shameonu:

I agree they are nice lads, they just can't sing - in a singing competition! I can see them doing well on children's TV.

And what on earth happened to Rachel? Has she turned into a Tracey (whoops, I mean Stacey) clone?!

3 cheers for Joe, Danyl and lovely Lucie.

I think it has all backfired on Louis as 2 of his acts have now lost out to the Rice Krispie boys. I don't rate Jamie Afro at all. I wonder how much of a chance he would have had with normal hair. I think he is a one trick pony. I

I love Stacey but didn't think she sang well last night. Lucie I thought was the best performance of the show. Danyl has a great voice but not very distinctive or unique and lacks charisma. You either have it or you don't and I worry he doesn't. Hoping to be converted but doubt he can turn it around to get the votes he needs.

The twins kind of remind me of the early Wham years. I could picture them doing 'Wake Me Up before you GoGo', complete with fingerless gloves, and dodgy dancing!

Think Louis must be paying for his PA to sit with his/her finger on the redial button for them though, as I cn't see what anyone else would see in them.

I completely agree, but hopefully we won't have heard the last of Miss Frank. They really have something different and good, and are still very much developing this.

I think Danyl got to the bottom because no-one thought for a moment he would, and so they voted for people who might get chucked off!

Stacey is great too, but I love it most when she speaks rather than sings - she's naturally hilarious!

I wish Danyl had gone to be honest really.. I really haven't warmed to him and I don't think many voters have either, he is an excellent singer - very accomplished and polished but he does not have the "boy next door" likeability factor that say Joe or Jamie have. I don't like the way he chucks the microphone around either!

If Cheryl had thought about it she could have voted off one of her strongest competition.

I thought Lucie was the best on the night, Rachel was improved (much better hair!). :D

I don't get why people don't like Danyl. I think he comes across fine, it is a singing competition after all.

And why did Louis moan that Jamie Afro's song wasn't big band when "She bangs" is hardly swinging is it???? Talk about hypocritical.

Simon was right about Lucie, i just didn't see the emotion of the song coming from her.

Trust Cheryl to wimp out of voting.

Okay, i'm done ranting now

I dont watch X Factor bt I did have a surreal conversation with a 90 odd year old little wizened lady who is in the hospital bed next to my mum, it went

lady - hello dear

me - hello

lady - your mum not back from surgery then?

me - no

lady - she'll miss Simon Cowell

me - sorry?

lady - Simon Cowell you know the X factor?

me - excuse me?

lady - yes, I like a bit of Simon Cowell, mind you I dont know how them two stay in week after week, they've no talent, last series was better you know.

Now I don't know who she is talking about but of all the things I expected to hear from a frail old lady that wouldnt have been high on my list

My Grandad is 87, and this time last year he was in hospital after a heart attack and we had to tape the X Factor for him and take it in on a DVD with our portable DVD player, and he told all the young nurses that they couldn't tell him what happened :D

When he came home he picked up the phone and voted for Rhyddian every week, I took him to see him in concert in May and he LOVED it

Hope your Mum is OK Tasha :D

I adored Rhyddian, but thought he was later than last year - about 2 years ago maybe?

He was a star, & now doing rather well, so I hear 8)

Same with Darius, who I loved too, he is making a career for himself & is engagsd to Natasha Henstridge, which Hubby is totally in awe of

Strangely,I can't see those awful twins making any sort of career for themselves on the back of this show.

Expect them in celeb BB in a years time!

I agree about Danyl. OH cannot stand him and is longing for him to be chucked out and says that he is arrogant. Well, I haven't been totally involved in watching the show so maybe I have missed something but it seems to me that he is a talented singer and entertainer. Along with that comes confidence that may well border on arrogance but - show me a performer who doesn't have some of that!

I also agree that Louis was protesting a bit too much about the U2 song when he chose the Ricky Martin number.

It was very predictable that it would go to the public vote but - as I have said before - I am convinced that the whole show is completely stage managed by Simon Cowell. I wouldn't be surprised if he told Louis to keep the twins in it just to add some controversy to the show.

I know what you mean, but I am a volunteer with a charity for older people, and at our Sunday tea-parties this is a regular topic of conversation (along with Strictly, and Dancing on Ice when it is on). My 'ladies' who are mostly in their 90s nearly all watch it - they like the costumes, they like the songs and they like the 'back story' about the contestants and their lives.

I don't know if they ever vote, I suspect not, but it's a real favourite with them!

!What was Rachel doing?Sorry but she was ridiculous trying to be Stacey on Saturday! Made a real show of herself!

Wasn't it cringeworthy! Someone has obviously told her to try and be more fun and engaging but she just came over as hyper and fake poor girl. I couldn't believe that she is only 18. She looks much better without the silly hair but she can't leap about screaming every week..Can she?

I know, she looks like the set for the Take That video "Shine" Either that or she fell over in a record shop and got two vinyls stuck on her boobs.

Just watched Lloyd, sounded a bit beige for my liking. Why did he sing that song, hashe never kissed anyone before!!! He's only there because the tweenies like him.
