jlo
We were in London for a day out on Thursday and wandered into Selfridges. When I saw that their Christmas Shop was around, I refused to go down to that floor

bluekarin
I saw the first Christmas meal booking adverts in the local paper this week! It really spoils Christmas when things are advertised for it so early.

Olly
Well for once I'm quite happy about all this. I and my brothers and sisters and various descendants, partners and hangers-on etc are having a Family Weekend again this year. We did it last year, we rented a large house (it's a job to find one that sleeps 18+ people) for the weekend, organised lots of food and games and so on, and last year it was a Murder Mystery party. This year the theme is ... Christmas! We'll be having crackers, carols, turkey and all the trimmings and so on - in October. I was a bit worried we wouldn't be able to get hold of all the necessary, but it sounds as if that won't be a problem!

Happy chickens!
Noooooo! I like to wait until I've had my birthday before Christmas starts!!!! (mid dec) I noticed that some of the craftier omleteers are already being organised and planning already.... I don't know whether I am jealous or horrified!!
