well as promised here are some very quickly taken shots of the girls enjoying some corn on the cob. (bought especially for them :shh: ) You might notice the Orpie girls faces and how red they are... bless them. They were all sleeping in the nestbox last night I couldn't quite believe my eyes two orps, 2 other girlies and one fat bluebelle rammed in the nestbox hole. I took a photo but it was REALLY dark so it didn't show them clearly.

Oooooh....what gorgeous girls!! I just have bog standard Lohman Browns just now,as that's all I could source nearby, so am deadly jealous of anyone with anything pretty!!

Ahhhh that's not nice. :shameonu: I think my Rita is dead pretty - I love her blondie highlights round her neck and her white under down (if there is such a term). You can't see it too well in this though.

Cooks they are lovely. Funny you should mention corn on the cob, my lot have a few tied up in the run at the moment that were bought specially for them :roll:

 

Lidls have Fresh Corn on the Cob for 15p each. Needless to say I stocked up. The man at the checkout said to me "It is lovely is Corn on the Cob, you must like it buying that many" to which I replied "yes I love corn on the cob, but I won't be eating these, these are for my pet chickens" He looked at me quizzically and decided to say no more :lol:

 

Gelbel, your Rita is Beautiful. I think my Donna is gorgeous too :D

:anxious: David Bailey here! I wish!!! For every picture I post at least 10 have had to be deleted cos they are blurry or the chook turned away at the last minute! :roll:
