Chucky Mama
Think ours is going on tonight. I promised DD last night when she could see her own breath in her bedroom
ali-s
My storage heaters are going on today, it is getting too cold outside and inside. Sat in my kitchen at the moment with no coal fire and no other heating (OH took out the storage heater when he was knocking down walls), the temperature of the kitchen is only 10c according to my weather station. Reikiranf
Still being mean here I've had the fire in the lounge on a few times but am now trying to get to November without putting the heating on I'm wearing knee length uggs and one of last years bargain cashmere buys from M&S, just realised I may have given you an awful mental picture in your heads so I thought I better say that I'm wearing jeans too
Christian
Ok, tshirt, jumper, fleece and scarf and feeling baltic now. Time to light the fire.

abwsco
It went cold here late afternoon but has warmed up again Still no heating on although I did have two fleeces on before. Oh and I've also brought out a great big shawly scarf so I'm looking very attractive - not DH is in a tshirt I always feel so unhealthy when the heating is on even though we never have it roasting hot anyway. Valkyrie
Still not on here yet. I sort of casually mentioned putting it on for a short while last night. Er, OH was not amused - put a jumper on he said.

sadietoo
Ours isn't on yet..but we live on the sunny south coast so house gets quite warm during the day...and fleeces etc keep us warm in the evenings. My OH says its against the law to put the heating on before the end of October
Valkyrie
I thought it felt warmer last night too - still no heating yet.

Christian
Fire is roaring, fleece on and still cold. Am away for 2 nights from tomorrow, but fear it won't be long until I turn up the thermostat. 2.7 degrees C this morning. Brrrrr.
Valkyrie
We've turned the heating on this morning too. Had a good innings without it though.
Rhapsody
Still on just the woodburner in the evening- can I add winter duvet into the conversation? I've still got my 3.5 tog summer one on, I know its winter when the thicker one comers out of storage..
C&T
No heating here yet! Still got Summer duvet on, and window still open... I will admit to wrapping up in a blanket on the sofa in the evening though!!
Falkor
No heating here either! OH wants to put it on but my response has been to pass him a pair of socks and a jumper. Silly man is wandering round in t-shirt! (trousers too of course)
Reikiranf
No heating on here and I haven't put my flannel bedding on the bed yet, but we have got lounge and dining room fires on tonight
Valkyrie
We now can't turn our heating off unless we turn off the main switch which then stops the boiler heating up the water. Methinks time to call the plumber to get his electrician in.
ubereglu
Still not on. Although it is chilly today!
