Olly
eeek! I remember the pictures you posted last year of your Eglu covered in snow ... and it really was covered. I'm moaning about dark evenings and chilly mornings here but it's totally different where you are, isn't it.

Space Chick
Its an excuse for a warm mug of cocoa infront of a fire Mark. Would you be too upset if I said that the weather is so lovely here, I had the roof down on my convertible on the way home from work today
Angels4
Photos please Mark! I'm surprised that you get it that close to the sea. No photos....Thats what happens when you leave for work at 6am...I was suprised that it amounted to anything that close to the ocean as well. The sun is shining now and all the snow has melted it really was just a dusting after all. Its an excuse for a warm mug of cocoa infront of a fire Mark. Would you be too upset if I said that the weather is so lovely here, I had the roof down on my convertible on the way home from work today Not upset at all especially as I was rubbing it in when you all were already turning your heat on and it was beautiful warm days here. eeek! I remember the pictures you posted last year of your Eglu covered in snow ... and it really was covered. I'm moaning about dark evenings and chilly mornings here but it's totally different where you are, isn't it. I'm hoping to get the cube ready for winter, was meaning to do it this weekend but I have to go to Canada for work The winters here in general are harsh but I'm thinking this winter will be especially harsh on the island. chickenNutter
We never get snow here near Blackpool on the glorious Lancashire coast (Shhhh Anne) - its positively tropical most of the time (!)- blame it all on global warming Mark - bonkers weather all year round. Sadly it is largely because of both our nations' long history of burning fossil fuels. Ooops, got off my soap box now. What did your chooks think of the snow? Christian
You can't beat a bit of snow As long as you don't have to go to work I was in Munich 2 days ago. It was 1C and started snowing! Even the locals said it was early.

Valkyrie
I think Jlo's right - I had forgotten. I wonder if we'll get your dusting over us soon then Mark. I like to keep track of the weather in New York - we tend to get a slightly milder version about 2 weeks later - or earlier if it catches the jet stream.
