BarbaraJ
I have spent the last 2 days tidying and freegyleing toys. Phew i'm worn out. My conservatory was a hot potch of shelving and boxes full of child minding stuff and was always a mess. I told hubby if we got proper storage i could keep it tidy, well at long last we had a trip to Ikea and this is it now: Dada , just need to label the drawers and I'm done

Seagazer
Wow I'm impressed, mine would never stay that tidy even with the boxes. We have that storage system in YS's room. Its been really good for his toys etc. Now he doesn't have many its full of his underwear.
Willow
Wow that looks really tidy - lucky kids to have you as a childminder you have loads for them to do I decided I'd get downstairs cleaned today but really tired so slept in really late. I tried to get my boys to help. By the time FIL turned up in the afternoon for the w/e I was throughly cross. One boy applies his brain to try and do as little as possible, the other doesn't bother to think at all unless it's school work so only hears half the instruction Downstairs actually isn't too hard to keep clean and tidy as it's almost completely renovated so everything has a place but vacuuming up all trace of cat and mopping everwhere takes a while. Upstairs is a nightmare at the best of times as storage is limited and floor space to spread everything out is large. Spare bedroom has all the Christmas decoration boxes over the floor as I'd needed emergency ballons for YS for school during the week and they were in the bottom box with halloween decorations So just off to sort spare room so FIL has somewhere to sleep. My project for this year is to get serious storage sorted for upstairs

I really need to tidy up (off for 2 weeks - it might get done ) cathy x yes all lock and locks , i blame Omlet as hadn't heard of them before coming on here I haven't got a before picture but would be ashamed to put it on here anyway was a mess. now have to keep the teens from filling the sofa with dry washing, why they can't take it upstairs rather than dump it on the sofa!! Looney
Wowee! What a fab job you've done! Very organised and tidy...I'm just a teeny bit as my house looks like a bomb has hit it!! Today has been nominated house blitz day although we tend to tidy and Bogwoppit tends to destroy He likes to empty drawers and we haven't quite managed to teach him to put stuff away as well

Blackrocksrock
It is so so tidy and even the larder is very tidy - not at all like mine! - I only wish we lived nearer to an Ikea - nearest one is in Edinburgh many many miles from me
