Chicken Shirl
I'll remember that on the 12th of June Right I am definitely going, I was hanging about to see if Shirl was going to tell me the restaurant *Ahem Shirl...hint hint* Sorry Debs, was on "chickens" and got so tired I went to bed. Was 5 North Street Winchcombe Gloucestershire. Only one star I'm afraid, but delicious. We made and took our own cupcakes though. £4.50 a cake was a bit over the top I thought. Morning all by the way. *Waves*

Valkyrie
Way to go Wiggle - leave 'em wanting you back. Um, I never think of accents - you all sound like me! Poor Lewis, Tom and Fred! That is a terrific glass. I would have been on here sooner, but I had to dive into the settee and chairs to find treasure. Assorted hankies, sweet wrappers, bits of food, thread (thankfully no needles or pins), and the most dust to make a dust bunny bigger than the Angel of the North. How it squashes down so small must be magic. Of course then I have to reach for the hoover with the pointy suction end and disinfect my hands as I shudder to think what Kim and Aggie would have made of the settee. Have I found any money - no I blinking well haven't. Hmphh! All that effort for nothing. Not one penny. I have better luck in the washing though. I have amassed a grand fortune of £1-73. Saw a hare in a field the other side of Basingstoke this morning and a kestrel carrying a vole-like creature. The bluebells are out and I's a happy bunny today. Laura & CTB
Ah yes - sofa surfing! When my son was younger he used to volunteer to clean the sofas (knew it was worth me tucking a few pence down there) Glad you are a happy bunny today Kooj - I will be soon when I finish work, I have a whooooole week off
Valkyrie
Oooh nice. We have the weekend free of number one son. He is going to girlfriends straight after work and will be home Monday evening. He has been so much better recently, such a happier bunny himself. He loves his work and gets on well with everyone there. They have told him that if an opening for a permanent position comes up, they would love him to continue there. He has also discovered politics with a passion. In fact he has been doing lots of research and was giving us a lecture last night and it was so funny that we were all laughing together. Ooh I've come over all emotional. Wahhhhh! Erin at the moment is trying to make yeast-free doughnuts in the kitchen. Well, the first tester was rather charcoaled on the outside and undercooked on the inside, but the flavour and texture (apart from the charcoal and underdone bit) was lovely and light. Think I feel like dancing wooohooo!

I had a letter today to say a poem of my YS has been selelcted to be published... but... then it goes on to say I can buy the books etc.. so I am not sure how genuine it is. Lewis
Not heard of it, but they had something similar at primary school where we all had to write poems + stories, then some were published. Have a google + stuff first 1 of the early polands is alive too I think it could be stuck in the membrane + has been the same for a couple of hours, but I'll leave it a couple more before I think about 'helping' - know you shouldn't, so will resist Pekin X Poland still hasn't pipped, but is still in there
