Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

i found it on ebay last night and went to collect it today i paid £100 for it ,it has a very small bit of damage on the front that im going to duct tape as its only on the outside ,and dont go all the way through

 

im very pleased with it ,and im starting a bit of a omlet village lol

If you wanted to - I am pretty sure Omlet will sell just the front panel of the eglu if you call them

as you can see in the pic its tiny so im not going to bother with it to be honest ,the woman had it on a buy it now ,i couldnt believe it ,im sure as a acution she could of got more even with the damage .

 

i ummed and arrred a bit to start with as you can never tell from a pic what its really like ,but i took a risk and im so pleased i did the damage doesnt effect it in anyway its only cosmetic really and for £100 i cant moan ive seen eglus in a lot worse state going for alot me .

Thats what i thought lol . i think i was very lucky to get it .it had 4 days 20 hours left so i think she must of just listed it to me lol

it would of been a bit of a drive to collect for you lol it was in boston i drove 50 miles for it

 

and on the upside when gravy is better i will have a empty eglu and will have to get 2 more girls to put in it lol

no not now ,i had told the bloke i was looking for something else as his wasnt ready ,and he did say it was fine as he had a lot of people after it .

 

but never say never hey lol

 

i just need to move house first ive sold my house but waiting to move in to my new one that could be a couple of months .im so glad i part choped my house so i dont have to expain to the buyer why that beautifull lawn they viewed is now mud lol

Without the Royal connections I think we've had a rearrange since you were here last, the Pekins are now on grass rather than dry dust with a few blades poking through with their own covered (but unfinished ) run too
