I will miss her little face everyday, her battery sister muggles has two other friends but i hope she will be ok she keeps standing by the gate in the garden i do think she is wondering where she is. My chickens haven't even arrived yet and I know I'm going to hopeless at losing any of them. I'm really sorry to hear of your loss but what a great life you gave her. Many years ago, as a school kid, we visited a factory farm. The noise, the smell, the heat and the shock of seeing thousands of chickens trapped will live in my memory forever. All those pitiful little mites crammed together, some of them terribly injured, others half eaten in cannibalistic situations. We do not have re-homing for chickens in France otherwise I would be first in the queue, but I am full of admiration to you people who can and do give a new life to these dear little chickens.
